BA Combined Honours in German and Russian with subsidiary Serbo-Croat and...Old Icelandic (!) Lived and worked in 17 countries so been steeped in a few cultures. Managed to add a few more lingos yet always - most courteously - allowing folks to practise their English with me. (I love the English language. No prob with me). Realise the power of the Internet and what an age this is; am most curious as to what more ages will bring. Believer in Fate. Believer in tolerance...plus doing the best for one’s neighbour. (And if he/she doesn’t like me, let me just stay civil). Have soft power projects for the welfare (both economic and ‘feelgood’) of nations. Happy to discuss with anyone who is interested (even in just making money). Music, Film. Yet lots of other areas of life and business belong to the ‘self-expression and identity” a nation needs to...well...just be its unique and special self. (There’s money - and lots of it - to be made and ‘a lot of joy’ to be had making it). Meanwhile, I stay open to opportunities for all sorts of new idea projects. Green projects included. For example, if I said I know how to solve the usual supermarket plastic bags modern-day fiasco situation (and the general ‘plasticking up of Mankind’!); that I’m in cahoots with a manufacturing company with patent producing the product, would someone be happy to point me to an ‘Angel’ to discuss matters re upsizing their output? (You’ll be pleased you did, both monetarily and morally. [a most acceptable combination]. Re WA, I really do wish to thank all those people who made me so welcome from the start. For me - and probably as with a lot of people - it’s a gradual ‘unpeeling’ and discovery process; one to be savoured for its nooks and many crannies inhabited by many individuals (all unique - none ‘perfect’ [whatever this is].....just perfectly themselves), each person with his/her background and lots of stories to tell.....Based bordering East Sussex, UK, I’m often in London visiting a mosque on occasion, seminars at Chambers of Commerce and gatherings of all kinds...with occasional invitations to embassies...Does anyone else know, like me, that Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens, the singer. Who?... Best Google/Youtube him.) was converted to serving the Creator in the way it was decided for him...in the sea outside Miami as he was being carried relentlessly out to sea...Fascinating stuff. The decision to ‘believe’ was easy for him, eh? Not like for many folk, I’m sure. Lucky feller....I’ve just noticed the caption ‘Say a few words about yourself’ (Dear oh dear!). I’ll just finish with an observation re Cat (which you might decide is apt. You might not). His mother (Swedish) was a Baptist, his Dad (a Cypriot) Greek Orthodox; Cat was ejimicated in a Roman Catholic school. Can you imagine his disinclination for choosing any form of formal Christianity (God bless him...Cos I can well understand).... He did ‘look around’, found Islam did it for him and the teachings of Mohamed...once he knew in his heart he ‘believed’ in the Creator’s existence. Once again, lucky fellow. A bit like Saul-like experience, in its way. (Who became Paul, of course). Such folks get hit hard and easy. Not like most of us. Waddyasay? Let’s be patient with the non-believers, I say...After all, it’s not what ye spout (say), it’s wot ye do (for others). Betcha. I bet the Creator doesn’t ‘give a monkeys’ (= he doesn’t care) about your interpretation of such existential matters...As long as your more than half-decent to your ‘neighbours’... (I must cut this profile back one day!)
