Where are those Sunglasses of mine?

ABRACADABRA! ... they're located where you'd never think they were!

Perhaps, have you ever thought that something of yours is supposed to be placed where you thought you had left it last and yet, when you took a moment to look in order to find them, they of course, seemingly disappeared and subsequently, vanished into thin air? ...

THE STORY -- AS THE TALE GOES . . .

The story goes like this -- I had just gone shopping with my Mom in tow (or rather it was me in tow ... lol ... ) and we passed by a carousel of eyewear. Guess what?! ... a huge eye-popping sign that cited -- 50% off! ... After humming and hawing over a few pairs as a try-out, and as good fortune would bestow upon me this very day, I chose a pair of 'no-name' sunglasses that were found on the price reduction special off the rack. *(no-name = designer ones actually-- can't sport favouritism by naming the brand here.. :)

What a deal! ... and the goggs fit perfectly with UV protection. Just the pair that I needed! ... a whole new make-over look! ... stunning! ... famous! ... just like a Hollywood star! ... would fit right in Beverley Hills.... lol .... :)

The next day, I hosted a farewell luncheon for a fabulous television / documentary / digital producer friend of mine at a local popular restaurant in the center of town. Sadly, she and her family are moving to "Island" living due to varying circumstances and it was their time to leave the big city. We enjoyed a fabulous 'gab' catch-up session with each other and of course, we'll keep in contact. This is all to say of course, that I certainly had my precious set of new sun-goggs with me all sunny day as a matter of fact.

MORE SHOPPING . . .

Well, a short while later in same the day, I needed to take my best buddy (sweetest soul on four paws ever known! ... lil' darling Swedish reindeer herder) out grocery shopping for food -- what else?! ... so we pile into the car and made a few stops at our local favourite shops -- and at this time, the evening was upon us and dusk fell in ... we then got home and did the unloading.... (where's a hee-haw guy when you need one, as she mutters).

NEXT DAY:

Okay -- this morning, with the sun streaming & dancing in ... and getting ready for our morning walk/run/jog ... 'where are my sunglasses?' ... thinking to myself that I probably 'lost' them in one of the stores where we went shopping ... (thought to myself-- i was distracted in one store by an acquaintance who yelled out my name in greeting and chatted for awhile) i looked everywhere ... on top of the wardrobe, library, office, kitchen counter/table, dog bowls, everywhere around the house ... went to the car and looked around the dashboard, and then in the trunk ..maybe it's lost at one of the stores ... and if so, would anyone have been so kind as to deposit it at the 'lost 'n found'?) ... as I continued to ruminate on these inner thoughts, well perhaps the precious sunglasses fell off my crown during the grocery unloading ... checked, and double-checked, nope, nothing, nada, zip, score = 0...

A SOLUTION -- >>> LET's RE-TRACE OUR STEPS

Pondered for some minutes ... I had read somewhere (last century) that if one 'lost' an object, it is best to sit still and re-trace one's steps in one's mind and a strong hint would then arise in one's mind as to where the object can be found ... subsequently, this is what i did ... i received a feeling, kind of like a nudge, to go back to the car and look again. So I went back to the car and looked not only around the front dash and seats again, this time, I did a look-see in the back seat and half-hidden from view, there they were, on the side almost under the seat ledge.

Funny odd, I thought, how on Earth did they appear and land there? ... one of the mysteries yet to be solved logically or can it be? ... uhm-m, food for thought....

FOUND ! ! !

Magical Relief Ah-haa Moment! ...

Feel so glad to have seemingly 'found' my sunglasses! Very fortunate to have them 'returned' to me ... :)

How does any of this relate to WA? ...

When we are busy composing our thoughts or blogging or asking/answering questions or distracted in some way, perhaps text can go missing, too! ... and most times, the post comes back around in pleasant, surprising ways & means beyond our comprehension! ..... hurray! .....hurray! .... hurray! ....

Enjoy every moment -- there are still some mysteries to delight us, even today!

What's the moral of the story?

Blessed be are those who help others ... keep in practice and good things always follow ... :)

The result is tangible as I just got the news this morning when I logged in that my WA Rank moved 98 rungs upward overnight! ... good grief -- now at 129! ... we'll just let that be-e for awhile as it now seems anything is possible!
