Wealthy Affiliate Awesome Hosting
Dear Wealthy Affiliate members,
Hosting?
During the recent past, there's been some light discussion and the occasional query regarding platform hosting and I thought to look into it further and learn some more about it.
There's always something new to be informed about and this is one area that presented as a curiosity for me -- self-education is a big deal here.
What does the word 'hosting' actually mean in terms of a definition and how does it relate to the Wealthy Affiliate platform in the form of Awesome Hosting?
Hosting can be used as a verb or action word which can have a number of different meanings:
Let's start here with the two main definitions that I came across:
1. to act as host at (an event) or for (a television or radio program) where a guest or a panel of guests may be present for interviews;
2. to store (a website or other data) on a server or other computer so that it can be accessed over the Internet.
I pondered a wee bit and then, i figured that both definitions actually apply here on this platform:
The Hosts with the Mostest, per se, are Kyle & Carson --- Wealthy Affiliate, Co-Founders ...
We, (Royal We), as members, whether starters or Premium, are the 'gracious guests' --- guests can be non-paying or paying which, indeed, includes 'free starters' and Wealthy Affiliate Premium members .... does this make sense to you? ....
Kyle have posted on hosting and have spoken about it:
"the all-inclusive nature of the (WA) hosting, the fact that there are NO up
sells, SSL is included, caching is included, email is included, and
features like SiteHealth are included."
And he continues to articulate and to point out:
"The world-class hosting experience continues to evolve with new
integrations and updates to make management of your website/business
completely seamless and "tech" free."
Love it!
Plus, Kyle goes on to highlight the fabulous features that are all included as part of the 'all-inclusive' -- similar to a description of an 'all-inclusive vacation package!'

When we continue to use the platform; we also agree to the terms and conditions of the platform, this happens each time when we pay for our subscriptions, whether the membership is monthly or annually paid, the agreement is still made and we also agreed to abide by the rules of the platform as well.
So any of those individuals that choose to march at the beat of a different drummer face the possibility of receiving a write ban, (this is where you cant submit any material to the platform (comments on profile pages, blogs, or training threads). This ban will not stop you from reviewing and watching the training videos or working on your website).
Or the next step that Carson and Kyle can take is to expel the non-compliant individual completely from the platform. I am sure that our gracious hosts the WA co-founders (Carson and Kyle for any of you that don't know who they are by now). would prefer to keep any members that join WA.
But from time to time we get those individuals that you just can't reach and harsh measurements have to be taken to protect the integrity of the platform.
Toe the line, take a chance of being kicked off the platform: however, follow the rules and play it safe so that you never jeopardize your membership.
The choice is yours I prefer the less turbulent path myself!: abide and enjoy my time here.

wonderful to see such an informative reply from a seasoned WA member for everyone's benefit ...
perhaps the Terms of Service should be attached with it as well ... as there seems to be the occasional member who gets carried away and the manners being shown as a 'gracious guest' is clearly forgotten ... the kind of behaviour witnessed at a buffet dinner where gluttony appears and they're 'over-stuffing themselves' ... lol ...

Yes, many members from time to time forget that this outstanding and very useful platform is a service offered to them (at a very reasonable price of course) with conditions.
From my observation, on the most part has been complinacy from most members, but we do have those that think that they can do what ever they want without taking into consideration of the other member's feelings or what their action's conquences do to this platform and its SERP.
One or two bad apples cant be allow to ruin it for everyone else, that is when Carson and Kyle are requested to step in and keep the general promise and integrity of the platform in tact.
We are all guests here and I feel we should act accordingly for those that have never read or even viewed the term of service here's the link:

It might be wise for some members to read or even re-read this document they agreed to; prior to their actions getting them into some ackward situations.
As I have been told many times over: "haters are gonna hate"; no matter what you do! Then their are those that just refuse to follow any rule or regulation because they feel they are entitled to something more than everyone else.
Life is a journey - it is way to short to make unnecessary enemies: the more friends you make along the way the richer you become.
