Use of Question Mark in WA text
Hello Everyone!
Simply a note of observation -- when I've had the pleasure of reading the unanswered questions and then tried to go back to the originator -- there have been a number of times when it was just a rhetorical question with a ? sign in the body of the text or blog or comment. Therefore, it really wasn't a question as such. However, it all lands into the 'unanswered' questions bin!
Has anyone else observed this?
If yes, would everyone then, please kindly be more aware of the wonderful use of the ? sign when drafting up comments, or text, or blog.....
Guessing that WA has an auto-bot that scans for question marks!
Keep well & happy -- onward & upward for everyone's success!

P.S. thought just occurred -- hope the bot doesn't scan this posting and have it tossed into the 'unanswered' bin! ... lol ... :)

Hi Keisha
When one type a ? here in WA, it immediately triggers a little box at the bottom of the screen saying "Need community help with your question?" And a Yes / No block.
If it is just a rhetorical question, or one not needing everybody's help, but is specific to the person or post being addressed, one should pick NO.
Unfortunately many new people doesn't know and tick YES, and it is then when questions like that shows up in the Unanswered Questions feed, which are not real questions.
You can either kindly explain to the person that they should please next time click NO, or you can refer them to this comment. ;-) Here is the link straight back to this comment: Use of Question Mark in WA text Hope it helps!

What would the irony be if this was submitted to questions!!! I agree though, quite often I do see non-questions in the question area
You win! ... #1 astute observer prize! ... that would be way too much fun to have this post tossed into Qs... Enjoy!
All the best for every success, cheerio... :)
