Sprinkles - Drinking Water for Hydration

With the advent of the hot summer months upon us or some of us ... it's vital to remember to keep well in sprinkles ... our plants, grass, trees, and yes, even us!


Most of us seem to forget about drinking water throughout the day.


Did you know that if you ever experience a sense of lightheadedness or what may be commonly termed as a 'headache' can be caused by dehydration?


Well, that's just one of the signs.


It is best to try alleviating it with simply two glasses of fresh, pristine drinking water first.


Most of the time, the 'headache' will dissipate on its own after having the water.

With a clear, strong mind, we can then, do our best work in creating quality content for our blogs.


We're also talking about this, because, Ambassador or General Jeff, posted about the hot weather he has been experiencing recently and 'forgetting' to drink water for hydration.


Water is essential for life.


We all know this.

What I find helpful is to have a thermos handy with me if I'm out and about during the day ... I picked up this habit during my Master Gardening days when I'd be making presentations and conducting clinics. The work was just too interesting and the day would zip right by so I got in the habit of packing a thermos plus protein snacks along with me.

It's a good self-care and self-reliant practice.

It's truly worth the few minutes it takes to organize it the night before.

I found the mornings too jam packed in getting ready so that I'd be out the door on time.

Well, all to say, please remember to drink your 8 - 10 glasses each day to keep well-hydrated as part of your self-care plan.

Especially even more so these days of the big 'C.'

Keishalina, I do agree so much about agree so much about drinking water for hydration . For I do get headaches and dizziness at times . I have to encourage myself to drink more water then coffee. Thanks, and I do love to put lime or lemon sometimes peppermint leaves also oranges and watermelon . The way I water my plants and change my dogs water I should do myself a favor and drink more water.

yes, while i do enjoy a good aromatic cuppa java, personally and some others, also find it 'de-hydrating.'

... and yes, it is best to keep hydrated with clear, pristine drinking water ... your body & health thanks YOU!

Water is an absolute must if we want to operate at full capacity throughout the day.

On average, we're made up of about 60% water, so it makes sense to keep replenishing. It also aids in flushing out those miserable toxins and can help with weightloss.
I manage about eight pints a day.

Interestingly, adding 'citrus' helps to create a more balanced pH level within the stomach, which is always a good thing.

... yes, water is amazing! ... it does so many things for us ...flushes out toxins like you've said, keeps our cells hydrated, helps with proper weight maintenance, even helps us to keep our minds clear & eyes bright! ....
