hey hi Wealthy Affiliate Spin Doctors, Story-tellers, Scribes, Poets, Bloggers, Writers, Word-Smiths ...

Just a brief post to share a tip about engaging your audience and keeping them interested in what you have to say in your online blogs . . .

I received a memory jogger today that people still love listening to stories, as well as, enjoying story-telling or spinning tall tales. . .

Yes, imagine that! ... and do you know why? ...

It goes back to the early recessed days of childhood when someone did some reading for us.

It was a learning method used as a WAy to help keep us attentive, focused and even quiet, as kids and, therefore, we needed to be kept spell-bound to what we were hearing and needing to listen to .... because it was Super Interesting!

Do you recall the most delightful, interesting stories that you either read as a kid or were read to by a teacher or parent? ...

Well, that's where it all started ... spell-binding stories ... 'the once upon a time' ....

Anyway, a thoughtful tip for YOU for today ... use it wisely & well ...

Yes, believe it or not, the 'Once upon a Time' theme works well ... more figuratively today versus literal use of it ... you can transpose your spell-binding efforts by showing your best creative self in your blogs ... try the technique and please do share and let us know of your success and efforts with it ...

Perhaps, your Grandpa enjoyed telling you of his young boyhood stories and experiences? ..

OR, perhaps, you've got some relevant, fun, enlightening experience that you could simply share with your audience to make those connection points with them?

Anyway, that's if for now, dear friends . . . keep well & enjoy it all . . .

All the best to YOU in STORY-LAND ...

Thanks kindly for reading this post . . .

Let’s tell it!
Joe

hi Joe ... yes, kinda like 'show and tell' .... well when we grew up, they became 'presentations' .... lol ...

good to see ya here -- keep well, cheerio ... ⭐️😊⭐️...

This post was and is very interesting how true a story tells everything about who you are ,where you've been, How the past has treated you or how it is going to help in the future. right! Thanks , You got me thinking .

... yes, stories, especially, interesting, stimulating, memory-provoking, thought-provoking, fun, emotional, true-to-life struggles for instance, are all ones that create curiosity and interest for your potential reader / intended audience ...

and it's a great way to have people spend a bit longer on your blog instead of clicking away ... that way, you might just have a sale to your credit ....

... appreciate you popping by with your 'thinking' reply ...

keep well, all the best, cheerio .. :)

Stories are πŸ‘πŸΌ excellent way to communicate. I read many business books, but I will always remember, Who move my πŸ§€ cheese? By Spencer Johnson.

... yes, cheese is good! ... thanks Stanley ... agree, many people enjoy a good story and if you're a good story-teller, then, most will snap to attention on YOU ... lol ... chuckles .. enjoy it all! ...

... love fables, parables ... paradoxes, too.... it's fun & entertaining when we come across the varied ways to make a point for understanding and then the lesson is learned easily and memorably ...

... story-telling is a super technique for explaining things in a different light ... a mentor of mine from years gone by now -- he advocated for fiction as a better way to explain facts or reality as it was more believable ... there's a saying, that fact is stranger than fiction ... perhaps that's where it came from? ...

... thanks! ... :)

Once upon a time,
There was a little girl
Who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead
And when she was good,
she was very, very good.
But when she was bad,
she was horrid.

... lol ... lovely poem, Louise ... it's still a wonder ...all those 'once upon a time' stories, fables, poems! ... all good! ...

thanks kindly for sharing this with us today ...

and you win a ribbon for 1st aid responder ...🐦 .. tweet-tweet ...

still looking for that ribbon ... ah -- here it is ...πŸ… ...

all the best, cheerio ... :)
