Did you know that the Stellar Jay (Cyanacitta stelleri) is the Official bird of British Columbia? . . .
Apparently, this lively, smart, cheeky bird was voted most popular bird by the people of B.C. and it became the Canadian province's Official Bird effectively on December 17, 1987.
How's that for some trivia for you?
This vibrant coloured blue and black bird is found through out the Pacific Northwest of America.
... and incidently, the geographic location from where Jay's weekly WAbinars are live streamed along with his 'world-famous Q&A sessions."
How do you like the coiffe / hair style? ... notice the Crown styling? ... remind you of anyone familiar? .... lol ... :)
The Stellar Jay is also known to be a great imitator of sounds and would use its high-pitched squawking cries as defense against intruders.
Obviously a very popular feathered friend to have, indeed! Yes, yes, Indeedy, Indeed!

The Summer of my twelfth year was one of the best of my childhood. Good friendships made. Happy 12th Jay...Thank you Keisha also. Breakfast looks gooood, had mine so can't be greedy.
