Hello Star Power Wealthy Affiliate members!

Did any of you know Marilyn Monroe or recall the Starlet?

While she was well before my time, I have some friends who have her posters plastered all over their walls!

She must have been so adored by her fans!

And a striking, sultry beauty she was, too!

She lived from June 1, 1926 to August 4, 1962 and was well-known as an American blonde bombshell oozing with sensuality on stage as an actress, model, and singer.

Marilyn Monroe definitely had what could be termed as 'STAR Power!'

Would you agree with that statement?

Well, the time and life back in the post-war era of the high-flying 50s and early 60s elucidated a time of revival and the beginnings of the 'freedom of expression' period shall we say? ...

Even to the point of loosening of morals, perhaps.

That was kinda before my time, so I can't truly say that I would have had the good fortune to have had that explosive cultural change experience back during this period in the last century.

Some of the world's best creative show talent and rock n' roll music came out of that wondrous time period -- it must have been a truly magnificently rockin' roar of life & times!

I came across something that she said and found it quite profound, so I thought, hey, let's share it with our Star Power WA friends and family here ....

Marilyn said: ---โ€œI believe that everything happens for a reason."

"People change so that you can learn to let go," ...

"..... things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right,."

"..... you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself,"

" ..... and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.โ€

--โ€•Marilyn Monroe----.

She must have been quite something!

It's amazing to me of how the life & times can make or break an individual's path. . . or is it that the life & times help to mold or define of who we are or the kind of person we become?

Anyway, we are living in a different time. Yes, indeed, a very different time & space, indeed!

Do you think a 'Marilyn Monroe' would make it here today in this world of 2020?

We discussed about Star Power in my previous blog post and this is simply a continuation of some thought about that path.

We are all on a journey ... the Wealthy Affiliate journey to Success!

The Success is of how each of us decide to define it as we're all UNIQUE!

Now I feel my age...of course I remember Marilyn Monroe. It is hard to realize that some people are so young that they may not be aware of who she was...and, yes, we need to tap into our own star power to make a dent in our world. Hopefully many of us will figure that one out.

*** hi Fran ... it seems Star Power is forever! ... and from this post, Ingrid has mentioned that her 8 - year young cousin knows of MM! ... imagine that! ... and that's here in 2020! ....

there's always time to have your STAR Power shine to light up this world, Fran! ... yes, you can do it! ....

keep well, stay strong .. all the best .... โญ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Šโญ๏ธ... ***

Thanks for the encouragement -- I need it today.

...cheerio-o ... ๐Ÿ˜Š ...

I know a girl like Marilyn Monroe would make it today. Definitely. I once did an essay on her for a class taught by a nun. I think I did it just to shock her, and also because I didn't have anybody else interesting enough lying around. There were a couple of magazines of her in my mom's rack, and I had no choice. I was late. so I devoured these articles on her.

Somewhere in the photos and the words, and the words between the words, I met a strong, courageous, gentle woman. Shy, yet determined. She would have made it all throughout history, in fact she probably reincarnated over and over again and reached much more success than she did in this time line.

By the way, my essay was more from my people-analyzer-secret-weapon, I rarely wield in public, and I got an AAA++ on it, go figure. That's how the pretty, blue-eyed nun wrote it on my paper.

*** hahahahehehe! .... what a delightful, fun story you've just shared! ... LOVE it! ... Joss, you're amazing! ...

yes, back in a day .... it was a different kinda day and in today's world, that's a great guess that MM would be just as popular! ...

interesting point you've made about previous incarnations ... that would explain of how a five-year old is already a Master on the cello or piano, for instance .... the powers that are demonstrated in this life were developed / accumulated from the previous one(s) ....

and Super Congrats! on your triple A+ grading! .... Awesome is the word! ... here try on the special trophy hat ๐Ÿ† to see of how you like it on .. it can get weighty ... lol ..

appreciate such a joyful, fun visit with you here today, Joss!

enjoy the rest of a fabulous weekend, cheerio ... โญ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Šโญ๏ธ...

Kindered spirits, they occur once in a few lifetime. You keep that trophy hat for bringing up such a wonderful project. Have an awesome weekend, Keisha.

... appreciate YOU, Joss! ... and here I've been trying to 'de-clutter' .... lol ....

keep well, stay strong ... cheerio-o ... ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿต๐Ÿฆ‹๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ‡๐ŸŒท....

You asked about Monroe making it in todays world. Good question. that gave me pause to ponder, and I came up with this, I don't know. She became the sensation she was at the perfect time as many changes were happening. That said, there are so many celebs who most likely wouldn't have made it, not because of lack of talent, but more because of change in social mindset.

*** yes, you've made a good point there, Greg! ... i've always generally been interested in the life & times of notable characters and the strength of their being .... from what i've gathered so far, the social conditions & environment of the times when they lived really do have an impact on the shaping of the person .... i think....

.... anyway, it's all well and good ... we can simply enjoy ourselves today with all the wealth that's available to us all around the world, it's just of how it's allocated ... and the re-allocation is already in progress ... how else are we (as a species) ever going to evolve?

... keep well, dear friend ... enjoy the rest of the weekend ... :)

What a great post!
Maryline made a very brief crossing in this world, but she left her mark on the world forever. My 8 year old cousins know who Maryline Monoroe was. She was an intelligent woman and one who changed the way women were viewed in cinema. She was not just a sexy blonde, she was smart, avangardist and not ready to do anything to be successful.

Ingrid

*** Wow! ... you have a cousin who knew MM?! .... wow again! ...

there must be some great stories there!

that's thrilling to learn about that -- close encounters here!

Love it!

Appreciate your super share today, Ingrid!

Please do tell us more (if you'd like) or maybe an interview with your cousin? .... happy chuckles ....

keep well, stay happy, healthy & strong,

cheerio ...โญ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Šโญ๏ธ.... ***

MM will be as successful as she was, if she lived at this point in time. Her charisma and beauty is truly hers alone. Her life was cut short, maybe mercifully so, she wouldn't be around the most vicious characters of that time. I tend to think you are the Marilyn Monroe of our WA community - enigmatic, charismatic, witty, vibrant and full of good vibes = Star Power = Keisha!

.... hahahehehe .... lol .... giggles, chuckles! .... golly! ....

YOU Marvelous Megawinner! ... tickle, tickle! ... :)

YOU sure know of how to say it! ... love your adjectives, that's your forte here! ....

Compliments, compliments, compliments!

hey, it's all good and fun!

Appreciate YOU! ... you handsome, dashing, daring darling! ...

I knew it! and you gave more than enough 'handsome dashing darinf darling that am!' ha! Lol.Thanks for an early laughter! Have a great Sunday, my friend.

... yes, absolutely! ... enjoy it all ... lol ... too much, eh? ... ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽˆ
