Cruisin' the River Banks of WA Learning & Doing

Hello World!

A thought came to mind -- last century -- having travelled through some interesting parts of this world -- through the Sinai Desert and landed in Egypt to see the famous Pyramids --

... stayed at a five-star resort hotel (that's all that was on offer) and across the seemingly flat horizon at dusk -- a huge cloud of buzzing mosquitoes thick as can be and as far as the eye could see over the mighty River Nile ...

... that same feeling of quiet solitude & melancholy washed over me this morning so I thought I'd blog about it and share a wee bit of this journey today ... :)

Travels galore & available right here on the WA platform ...

Yes, simply cruisin' along the river banks of the amazing Wealthy Affiliate platform in learning lots about affiliate marketing & taking 'tortoise-like' moves on building a website or two or three.

Why are we taking our sweet, lovin' time meandering along the River WA? ...

It's uncertain at this time where the 'dips & dops' of the road will take us --

... after all, life is one big journey of learning & discovery -- much like being on this WA river cruise destined for the hilltop summit of success! ...

... one step at a time ...

Why the uncertainty at this time?

Well, frankly, it's WordPress, it's WordPress, and again, it's WordPress --

... all the quirks and quarks that seem to go along with learning more about it -- themes, themes, & more themes and then, of course, plug-ins!

.... It's enough to drive someone absolutely bonkers!

You know I'm a bit of a 'Curious Georgette' -- simply enjoy learning lots -- especially puzzle-like things -- love exploring to find out of what makes something tick! ...

... however, I'm really not much of a 'stuff' kind of person ... more of a people-person and it makes me feel more cheerie when I'm in the good company of others ... :)

So progress to date may seem 'tortoise-like' due to the wonderment of all that it takes to build to fruition & completion an effective, successful website.

It brings back to mind when I studied and completed my first degree in applied sciences (last century... lol...) -- it took something like 4 years to graduation --

... yes, successful accomplishments take time.

Having said this, a few weeks or a few months into WA is really no comparison at all ...

... already knowing what success looks like from past achievements, getting a well-functioning website will take some time & of course, applied learning & efforts in getting there ...

... then, one can look back and say, once again, 'been there & done that -- check !

The experience to date has been likened to being a conductor of a symphony orchestra in harmonic resonance of all the vital instruments & pieces of music in synchronicity of play.

My current sense is that I'm still in the embryonic stages of identifying all the vital parts of the jigsaw puzzle pieces before they can all be pieced together into a cohesive whole.

That's the challenge ahead as far as my eyes can see -- success is just over that next summit hill overlooking the abyss or is it just around the corner of the next meandering curve of the river bank?

Beautiful post, love the photos. I think it is a common reaction that we stop and there is that big question. You are darn right success for you and most of us who stick with the sometimes tiresome process is there. Your obvious talent is shown in your writing skills.
All the best.

I don't think its important how long your journey takes just as long as you arrive at your destination in one piece.

Hi Keisha. WA is definitely the beginning of a journey. An exciting adventurous one at that. Hopefully you will be successful enough to come and visit our beautiful country 'Australia'. Our native swans are totally black in color. Jim

Hi Jim! ... sure -- absolutely! ... we'll swap hemispheres each winter & summer to enjoy sunshine all year round -- how does that sound? ... trumpeter swans are getting more rare as their habitat becomes less 'n less ... we can visit with each other anytime -- just say when ... enjoy a beautiful, wondrous day & life ... it's all good! ... thanks so much for your kind reply, cheerio.. :)
