hello Wonderful Wealthy Affiliate WAmily & members all around the world!

And here we are now just before another August Weekend ahead!

What are your plans for the weekend?

How does a new habit for Success & Clarity sound to you?

Anything fun, new, or exciting to stimulate the vital sense of 'ah yes, there's life here!'

Agree, it's going to be a long, long haul before we leave this pandemic behind us OR maybe we can change our thinking and say, let's have this pandemic leave now..... perhaps.

A Super Star member, Eugene, blogged about creating our destiny, being the Master of our fate, so to speak. He gave some powerful, packed punches in his post and I appreciated the energy and strength behind the clear, crisp messaging.

Here it is in case you missed it:

Well, with all the sorting, consolidating, cleaning, divesting that I'm in the throes of taking care of business after having moved and presently, getting the household re-organized one more time. . . every object that appears before me, I will be asking whether I truly need it or not.

*** (It's most likely NOT! ... lol .... )

Here's a litmus test that I plan to use: to toss or not to toss!

"...Get in the habit of asking yourself: β€œdoes this (truly) support the life I’m trying to create?”... author unknown.

And if it doesn't, then I am letting it all go in peace, in love and peace that is.... and it does start with the STUFF!

Enjoy a beautiful weekend ahead everyone.

Please do keep well, stay strong.

Chat again soon.

all the best to you......

And thanks kindly for being here and for reading this post......

Indeed, LiKes are appreciated and cosmic comments are welcomed in the reply box....

Are you enjoying your new home? Hope you have found the move to be what you wanted.

That's a good question to ask -- whether what you are doing supports what you are trying to create -- if we don't do things needed to move closer to our goal, we're missing an opportunity.

... well it's an ol' new home in the sense that the ceilings, walls, and flooring has all been re-done .... paint and resin smells still!

... and it's a combo, consolidate and squish routine happenin' as we speak! .... all the emergency pack out stuff brought in from the flood out and the year's accumulation from being hosted out ... and there's STUFF everywhere! ...

... my plan : got rid of some furniture, shelving and such and everything is on the floor! ... it's all gotta go somewhere! ... more like out the door! ...

... so it's work, work, work for quite awhile, most of August, I'd say... come on over and help if you'd like to be in the throes here!... lol .. chuckles!

... after having spent over a year without the STUFF, how do I really need it? ... not too much, eh?! ...

... sorting still needs doing though ... ah you'd be proud of me this morning, I moved along a precious round spinning globe with protractor to a school teacher who can use it for his classroom! ... I thought that was a good move! ... and I feel stuff should be going to places / people who - where it would be used and appreciated ... so that does take a wee bit more time and effort than just a TOSS! ...

... appreciate you asking, Fran and believe me, if you don't need to move, don't! ... it's a ton of work, and added stress! ... we didn't have much choice in the matter as it was an emergency full pack out and we had to get movin' ... and now we realize of how 'heavy and dense' stuff can get! ....

... ah well, now books, papers, manuals next ... cheerio ... 😊 ...

Well, sounds like you are working through it. Don't get too tired or stressed -- isn't worth it.

.... thanks kindly, Fran ... you're a treasure! .... and you're right, it's just stuff! ... stuff as such, it's still heavy going ... just enjoying a tea to steel myself to launch into the piles of books, papers et all... urghhh! ...

... yes, let's enjoy a cuppa together and treats galore --- take your pick of anything you'd like .. ... β˜•οΈβ˜•οΈπŸ°πŸ©πŸ₯πŸŒπŸͺ....!

You do mix a fine brew, Keishalina. You are a kind soul. If this will help, a piece of advice from the incessant mover that I am, if you haven't use an item for more than 2 years, you don't need it and never will. You can take the chance of selling it or giving it away. Please don't throw it away as it still has a life it might fulfill.
Blessings,
Joss

*** Wise words, Joss! .... yes, i'm just in the process of sorting and most will go as donation .... selling things these days with all the steps to divest brings too many 'new people contacts' for my liking so it's best to simply give all away or in recycle so to speak ... i find it more peaceful that way ....

thanks ... I appreciate YOU! .... cheerio ... ⭐️😊⭐️....***

... actually, i also have original art ... now what to do there? .. auction houses perhaps? ... (just maundering to meself ..:)

wow, original art is usually sought after by tons of collectors. I myself love art. There is not a wall in my house that doesn't have a hanging, and they all have their stories, although they are not originals.
Put it up in Kijiji or on Craig's list or something, or a little piece of paper on the billboard of your local store or something. I'm sure you'll have takers.

... thanks kindly, Joss .... i'll just keep muddlin' about here to create more space ... it's progressing along nicely today ... of course, still lots more to do ... the art work can come later ... i'm just going through the kitchen stuff right now ... and then eventually, books/papers (got rid of some shelving) and then likely back to clothing and then furnishings and then .... +++

.... as they say, 'no rest for the weary!' ... alas, shall continue to sally forth ... :)

Love your attitude. Good luck.

... still smilin' .... thanks! ... 😊 ...

Not sure how cosmic this comment is Keisha, but it's offered in friendship. Lol

Over the years, I've gotten rid of more accumulated stuff than I've kept. Purchases also sort of fall into the mix. My basis for buying something new is simple, want - need - desire. If it doesn't meet those three simple qualifiers, I don't buy it. But that goes strictly for me. I'm quick to buy things for family just based an making them smile. A rose for wifey, trinkets for the grandkids, etc.

Have a wonderful weekend my friend.

Greg

*** YOU are cosmic, my dear friend! .... lol ... ah yes, those 'wants-neeeed-deeesiree!' .... and gifts galore! .... gosh, have been blessed by so much and what do you do with presents given to you? .... many of mine have been stowed and are now seeing the light of day .... all such wondrous stuff ... :)

... well, as Twack has said to me, that 'steely resolve' is helping me to get the plow in to plow it all outta here! ... lol ...

... enjoy a wondrous weekend & chat again soon ... ⭐️😊⭐️...***

Hi Keisha, good to see you back in the swing of things. Moving can be stressful... but I see you aren't letting it get that way.

Sorting stuff, can be fun... especially when you have something that brings back a happy memory.

Even when it isn't something you could use or need in your life now... if it gives you happy thoughts it's a keeper.

Enjoy your sorting weekend!

Bob

hey hi Bob! ... wonderful to see you, too! ....

hope everything is going swimmingly well for you?!

yes, the moving is pretty much done .. it's now going through the combo of the emergency pack out stuff which is all in a jumble from the packers over a year ago --- plus the tremendous accumulation from being with a host family for the year's stay while the renos were being done and then of course, the pandemic hit so it slowed everything to zilch! ...

anyway, we are persevering or rather plodding along here .... and sure appreciate your helpful tip about what to keep or not to keep ... and yes, things that give a 'happy' good feeling with cherished memories are keepers ...

.... please do keep well, stay strong and thanks kindly for being here --- YOU are appreciated! ... cheerio.... ⭐️😊⭐️...

I feel the steely resolve coming through. How liberating. To quote Marie Kondo.

"But when we really delve into the reasons for why we can't let something go, there are only two: an attachment to the past or a fear for the future."

Have an exceptional weekend.😁

*** Love it, Twack! ... 'steely resolve!' ... and that's a super quote!

YOU Philosopher King! ... appreciate so much your literary genius...

Enjoy an 'exceptional weekend ahead.'

I'll be sorting, and divesting stuff -- busy with that! ... :) ***

You are very kind, thank you. The pleasure was all mine. Think how amazing you'll feel when it's all done.

*** yes, appreciate the solace! ... you're right, i'll be so-o so freed up and lightened up when the plowing is all done and done! ...

... lol ... ah (and a sigh for now) .... enjoy a beautiful weekend!

.... all the best ... ⭐️😊⭐️....
