Are YOU Shrink-wrapping YOURSELF?
With this global situation, many, many people, including WA members have likely wrapped ourselves and feeling vulnerable and have subsequently, 'shrink-wrapped' ourselves at home or in our dens or hidey-holes!
This post is simply a gentle reminder that we are STAR Power, unique in our talents, strengths, insights, creativity, and accomplishments!
Agree, it's a different time that we're experiencing all around the world and we all deserve the very best!
With all this time available to us, we have plenty of hours, days, weeks, and months to reflect upon our lives and of where we've been, where we are now, and where we can still get to....
Just sayin' that it's all okay to let go all that doesn't serve us such as letting go of people, places, and things that we have outgrown.
Simply, it isn't anything personal --- we are simply all grown UP!
"Stop shrinking yourself to fit into places you’ve outgrown." ---DailyAdage---.
While we are all in the same 'band-width' so to speak ... we are all on our unique & varied trails in this band-width..... and it's ok to meander to different, interesting places at different times in life and as the seasons change over the years.
And one of the most profound things a good friend once said to me, 'perhaps, those who are in are our lives are only meant to be there for a brief time or a set time and then it would be ok to proceed onto the next..... ' LIfe is like that.
I have had three graceful 'clumping' bamboo plants that started off very small, and have been re-planted a couple of times as they've outgrown their containers.
Well, they're all grown up and have needed re-planting again as the roots are going around into circles and growth has been capped with nowhere else to go.
So growth stopped and the leaves started going yellow and weaker instead of the luscious green strong leaves that normally show through out the year.
I've given the plants to my host family who have a huge yard area and have been re-planted.
With greater space, it can now grow further in reaching a healthy potential.
This is the same for people.
We all need room to grow, to breathe, to actualize our dreams, hopes and aspirations!
Just some thoughts in sharing as I'm divesting, sorting, and looking at STUFF from the move.
So bust outta that 'shrink-wrap' and Live YOUR Life to the FULLEST Possible by giving yourself the allowance and space to do so......

Make the best of it all here on this amazing WA Platform ... it has a lot to offer, the awesome training galore, tools, resources, community of encouraging members ....

A number of years ago, I began working from home, it was a wonderful experience and allowed for many freedoms, but there were downsides as well. I was living alone in those days, and my "40" hour work week averaged around 60 hours, and frequently upwards of 80. I was isolated long before it became a thing. In those years, and since, I've learned to cope with many adversities, and depression was always lurking in the shadows. I defeated all this negativity thru faith, love, and family. Very thought provoking post today Keisha.

... yes, it takes much more skilled discipline to work from home vs being in a workplace or office-setting ... we are all now 'at home' with the freedom to discover or rather re-discover ourselves and close ones in our bubble ... the greatest challenge is overcoming the mountain summit of within -- the i, me, myself -- the three peaks! or some call it the Ego!
... it must have been quite a challenging time to have been by yourself however it allowed for you to gain tremendous insights and it strengthened you into your Power! ... your true inner Power! ... and happy to hear that you've conquered your mountain peaks and know of faith, love and family! ... sounds like you definitely enjoy 'beauty' in your life ... this is vital! and it helps with our unique talents and expression of our creativity ...

I do feel “shrink wrapped“ at times.
Currently, in this situation I am thankful for online video and zoom. I am still able to connect with humanity online.

'being shrink-wrapped!' ....lol ... i, for one, do as i'm currently dealing with all this STUFF around me from the mega-move .... combining the emergency full pack-out stuff and now the year's past gathering of more STUFF (setting up another household, right?!) ...
And now in the throes of consolidating, sorting and squish! ...
Ya, sure feeling 'shrunk' in this space .... so as a neighbor has just said, he gets his stuff moved around and out just to make more ROOM! .... yes, we all need more ROOM! ... especially now ...

... and today, and over the next few days, papers, manuals and got the shredder ready ... hope the shredder will hold up ok for the work ahead .... lol .... should put some overalls on, eh?! ...

This is deeply inspirational, the same time encouraging beyond words. Every time I come in here, I learn something else about courage and take up time to further my insight & knowledge about online business.
Many times I get real disappointed with my development & real slow pace, attempting to make it all work as newbies with no prior experience.
Who is to say how close I am to fully benefit using "healthy potential" when going in small circles, at times seem to be the norm, and all to be expected-- trying new stuff is only for the "super."
Your post- reminded me to keep checking in with the right attitude, there is something --unique about me & I will get to share it with the world.
