Dear Wealthy Affiliate members all around the World. . .

Did you know it is November 13, 2020 and it is World Kindness Day?

It would be out of character to allow this day to pass without some honourable mention and to say 'thanks kindly!'

Does it cost anything?

Simply your consideration and a bit of thought and to make a kind act or even a random act of kindness.

Are there benefits to kindness?

Yes, apparently, it helps make people feel better and to feel more connected and to achieve a healthier, more positive outlook.

And perhaps, words to flow faster when pulling together a blog post for publishing on your websites --- how does that sound to you?

What are some of the things we can do to help celebrate kindness today and each and every day?

Here are a few ideas:

1. Extend a compliment to the first three people you talk to -- hi Carson, Kyle & Jay! -- thanks for everything you do for us here at Wealthy Affiliate!

2. Take a moment to thank someone who posted a blog post for sharing with us.

3. Write a note to a WA member complimenting them of how you enjoyed their post.

4. Say good day to the person next to you on the elevator or in passing on the street.

5. Pick up litter -- the environment thanks you.

6. Call up a senior and give them a hello and enjoy a wee chat to brighten up their day.

7. Place uplifting notes in library books tucked away for the next person to enjoy the love you are circulating.

8. For tree-huggers ---- a small forest of trees were wrapped with individual, long hand-knit scarves with cheerful notes. (i thought this was so sweet!)

9. Do a food or grocery drop for a neighbor -- it's amazing the loving surprise!

    Good afternoon Keisha,

    What a nice post.
I did something friendly today, as my neighbors have become "foreigners" in Spain because of Brexit. The amount of bureaucratic stuff they have to deal with is not funny and that after living here during many years.
As we do not move much I think I should make a couple of phone calls and ask how people are doing.
It is true, our world lacks love and kindness. It is good to be reminded of that. The pleasant side effect is that one feels a lot happier too, while being kind to others.

Greetings from the south of Spain,

    Taetske

    hey hi Taetske!

Always lovely to enjoy a wee chat and visit together with you!

Yes, being kind works and a simple call to show you care works, too!

Keep well, lots of love, peace, happiness for you,

Such wonderful suggestions, thank YOU, Keisha, for constantly brightening up our daysπŸ™.
I love the idea of leaving notes in Library books.
When out shopping (in a socially distanced manner) it's nice to make a point od saying how grateful you are to those that serve you in the shops.

    hey hi Twack!

    Bright, bright, bright YOU are!

Yes, library books are generally always in 'circulation' -- and let's circulate 'love & kindness' all around ...

Keep well, lots of love, peace, happiness,

.... and blessings to you & your loved ones for perfect health! ....

Back before these lockdowns, when I was on my laptop in Starbucks, I'd' often give up my seat for an elderly couple and sometimes pay for their coffee. Sometimes, people simply want someone to chat with them.

    Appreciate the post, Keisha πŸ‘

    Isaiah 😊

    hi dear Maestro ....

Good to see you and happy to know you're such a loving & giving person with others ... you are blessed a thousand-fold and your kindnesses is returned a ge-zillion-fold....

Keep well, lots of love, peace, happiness,

    cheerio ... βοΈπŸ™‚πŸ§‘πŸ™ ...

I worked with the elderly after I had just moved to France. My colleagues hated a certain 95 year old lady that was always very grumpy. One day I had to visit this lady to bring her medication and make her lunch. My colleagues warned me for her moods and the fact that she hated foreigners. So, I went there with an open mind and a little bunch of tulips from my garden to get acquainted. I rang the doorbell, she opened the door with a surprised look on her face and then became all teary eyed and said that the best holiday she ever had in her life was the week when she went to Holland in the sixties with her sister visiting the tulip fields.
We sat down, had coffee and from then onwards I became the regular caretaker of this lady until she passed away last year. She was never grumpy to me once in the 5 years I looked after her and she was always happy chatting about gardening. Sorry for the long story! I guess it can just take one kind act to make a person feel better. Love your post Keishalina!
    Have a lovely week-end!
    Diana

    hi Diana,

    What a lovely story!

.... yes, it simply takes a nano-second of kindness & clarity of understanding to reach someone who 'appears grumpy' --- it's just an outer crust that they've shielded themselves in due to some mis-understanding or such earlier in life ....

and absolutely! ... you're so right when you say 'it can just take one kind act to make a person feel better.'

i feel all living beings respond well to kindness and beauty returns in bunches like tulips in blossom.... 🌷🌺🌸 ... love flowers!

Keep well, lots of love, peace, happiness,

    cheerio ... βοΈπŸ™‚πŸ§‘πŸ™ ...

    You too lovely lady!!πŸŒΉπŸ’•πŸŒΉ
