Well, just yesterday, I heard from one of our dear Wealthy Affiliate members, JerryMcCoy, who wrote something very insightful on one of my WA blog posts.

I needed a bit of time to digest what he had to say about hardship.

T'was a time to reflect upon the making of greatness by some notable individuals who have gone before and those who are here now and forecasting those who are yet to come.

Over the recent years, Jerry has shared with us some of his life's ups and downs -- and yes, through adversity, he has come through it all courageously and are still with us here to share his stories.

"While adversity is unpleasant, it is vital to experience. If, we, have not experienced adversity then can we say that we have achieved our best. We need adversity as a guide to see how much progress we have made and have a clearer idea of the road to come."

Yes, it's been said by ones who have gone before us that 'when an experience doesn't kill you, it makes you a better person ... and indeed, perhaps a stronger & wiser one as well !'

Still traveling along this road of difficulty when facing life or death situations, I recall having read some of 'Death & Dying' Pioneering Giant, Elisabeth Kรผbler-Ross.

Perhaps you've already heard of her?

She was best known for her ground-breaking work in hospice care and on the stages of grieving.

She also believed that euthanasia prevents people from completing their 'unfinished business.'

So if you're reading this passage,

YOU know that YOU are alive and your LIFE PURPOSE remains to be done.

Excellent post, Keisha!

I have led a bit of a charmed life, and I'm very thankful for that. My most significant adversity has been the loss of elderly family members, but that's a natural part of life. Italian families tend to be really close.

Anything worthwhile requires a price to be paid. One form of that price can be adversity. If we have the attitude that this is the cost of doing business, then we will push through it and emerge much stronger.

Keisha, what a wonderful post. It says so much to all of us and is truly encouraging to me. Each of us need to take the time and truly READ and UNDERSTAND what is being said in a person's post. Some are crying for help with their business, while, others are looking for affirmation that they can indeed be successful.
When a person in new to affiliate marketing, there are many times of frustration and misgivings or loss of a positive perspective on what they want to achieve. It is up to those of us that have been there to encourage them to continue on and to follow the training. We can be their mentors and friends to help them achieve something greater than their greatest dreams.

One of my goals at Wealthy Affiliate is to be supportive of other members.
