I don"t see a way to get on to jaxy.. it asks me to join?

You may need to sign up or something. I think I did it when Jaaxy changed the plan structure. No payment needed, just sign up and get the Lite version.

Recently joined . Was wondering what day of the month the payment will be drawn from my account.

Usually the same day, it depends on the merchant though but it is typically within one day of the initial sign-up date. Some months have 31 days, some 28 so this can be +/- day sometimes.
The payment is processed on the same day of the month as your initial payment when you signed up for premium membership.
