I get so excited when I log into my Google Analytics and I see more traffic! Then I notice all the weird referral sites such as: simple-share-buttons.com, s.click.aliexpress.com
Unfortunately, we have all had this problem and still do :(. I don't understand either what benefit these people receive from doing this. However, Michelle has already provided you with the tutorial to sort this problem out.
I suggest you also bookmark this tutorial as google does not appear to be sorting this problem out and you may need it again in the future.
One think I have noticed with my site, It does not affect your ranking in the search engines :D.

Hi. You can remove the referral spam from showing false traffic in your Google Analytics. The following is a great video on what you can do to filter it out: Google Analytics Referral Spam And How To Get Rid Of It

How to deal with ghost traffic in google analytics?

Thanks Lis! Good to hear it does not affect SEO ratings. I will definitely hold onto the tutorial. Hopefully Google can figure out a way around this in the future.

Hi! I am looking into using Squarespace and my own domain name for my website. Is anyone else doing/done this? If so, I am curious about your experience and if you would recomme
Agreed. My brother has a website using squarespace. Its t
definitely the new and upcoming platform. I doubt it can surpass wordpress' community and free resources. It looks really cool though IMO. Im just sticking to wordpress because I dont want to pay extra for hosting.
Cheers,
Drew
Thanks for your reply Ken. I guess what I am wondering is if I can make a website using Squarespace (as opposed to Word Press) and still use WA? I'm not sure if that even makes sense!
Not really, Why would you want to use Squarespace.
Everything you need is right here at WA.
At Squarespace you have another monthly payment.
I would only use Squarespace to host and build my website since it works better for my niche visually speaking. It is also easier to build the type of website I want to build and has better tech support than WP (Word Press). It is much easier to drag and drop elements and see your website come together while building your website. Since WP is an Open Source program anyone can develop themes/features and they don't have much control over the quality of the developing which can lead to more tech issues. This is just a personal thing so I was curious if I had that freedom. WA would be my hub for learning about affiliate marketing, networking and building relationships with others doing the same thing, etc.
Since I haven't gone Premium yet I haven't been able to see if making the website outside WA and linking into my WA account is possible?
You certainly can if you are Premium, not so easy if you stay free.
I have many websites outside of WA. I link them in to WA when I
feel it is appropiate. I personally like html.
Hi Ken, I have the same opinion as KDippel, may I know how you link the websites outside to WA? Do you still get the " comment" features?
