Wow this SEO stuff works!

Had to share - because this stuff really works!

My latest post, which I published late yesterday evening, is already indexed and ranking on google!

It just goes to show that the training we learn here on Wealthy Affiliate actually works. I can't stress enough the importance of following the lessons in order. There's a reason why we're not taught to create and submit a sitemap until further along in our training, or start building email lists etc, and my post below is a good example of this.

But... First and Foremost

I have followed the training to the letter for the creation and build of this particular website. I have no doubt that this has helped build credibility of the site in the eyes of the google monster.

For this latest post; my content was indexed in a matter of minutes AND one of my keywords has already ranked on page 2 of google search results.

My Content Posting Process

Here's the process I now follow when creating content:

1. Use SiteContent to write my draft post and check content, grammar etc. SiteComment is a fantastic tool on here, I ALWAYS use it to draft my content, as it provides some excellent checks and measures.
   
2. Publish post to my blog, add in any links, images and make sure the headings etc are correct
3. Under my plugin XML-Sitemap, I click the link to notify search engines about my sitemap. This is something I've just started doing, I"m not sure if it's necessary, does anyone else do this?
4. Give and receive post comments here on WA through SiteComments
5. Immediately share my post through my social networks. BTW I use hootsuite to manage my Social media accounts, I normally publish to every SM platform with image first, then set up a series of daily tweets for the next month or so, reducing over time. That way my twitter account is always tweeting something interesting.
6. Add keyword tracking in Jaaxy, to monitor the performance of my keywords over time. This in itself is really interesting, some have gone up and some have gone down... I generally set the tracking for twice weekly.

Anyway, these six steps work well for me and it's good to have a system that works and is quick and easy to do each time.

The training and the tools here at Wealthy Affiliate really do work, but it's not just about the tools. We are also extremely lucky to have such a fantastic community here to support each other along the way, whether it's learning from the Ambassadors and more experienced members on here, leaving comments, offering feedback and also sharing ideas to be innovative and creative within our own businesses.

Feeling really happy today. Big shout out to @Kyle & @Carson for this great platform.
