- Build your first affiliate website (or 2) using the free site-rubix websites
- Complete all the free Level One Certification training
- Complete all the free Affiliate Bootcamp training
- In the first seven days of joining you have access to all the premium features of Wealthy Affiliate. Use this time to your advantage; tap into the knowledge base of the WA community though the message boards and live chat
- Use the search bar to ask and answer your questions - there's a wealth of information on the site.
Content, Content, Content
- Focus on writing as many posts as you can on your free site-rubix website
- Content is king, so while you are on your free membership, start building out your website and create as much (quality) content as you can. This also has the advantage that by the time you're ready to choose a .com domain name, you will have really defined the direction you're heading in and your chosen niche area.
Free vs Premium?
There is no obligation to upgrade in the first seven days (or forever for that matter).
Free could be a great option in the short term. One approach could be to hold off from upgrading to premium until you have a decent amount of content and posts on your website. At that point, you could purchase your own domain name (only $13.99 through SiteDomains) and upgrade to WA Premium.
BUT...
Whilst staying on the free membership is certainly an option, if you're serious about creating an affiliate marketing business, you will definitely want access to all the tools, training and additional resources that WA has to offer. Plus it does take a bit longer for a siterubix.com domain to be indexed and ranked on Google.

Actually I'm just doing a bit of an experiment.
- Trying out the use of keyword (suggested by another member here) for my WA blog. Apparently all our blog posts on here do get indexed and ranked on google!
So the longtail keyword I used in this post was:
"how to start affiliate marketing with no money"
Average monthly searches = 56
Traffic = 10
QSR = 1
It will be interesting to see how this post ranks in google in a few days or a weeks time :)

Absolutely! I went premium within the first week, but I guess everyone is here for different reasons and has different goals and the great thing is that WA can cater for that.
