What are some of your ways to find the latest products and techniques so that you can write a review on?

I would just recommend the google alerts. That's a great way to stay abreast of your niche. Cheers,

I've just checked out your website.
You seem to be in the health and well-being niche.

To find products, sign up to Affiliate programs that promote the kinds of products your niche is in.

As a start, in Google type 'wellbeing' + Affiliate programs. Your search results should show all the networks in this niche area.

This is an example so use whatever keyword + Affiliate Programs to find networks that are relevant to your niche.

All the best!

So a few of my posts are coming along nicely and I've just started to add affiliate links. Now my problem is that im worried about missing a huge amount of potential traffic wi

I believe the affiliate links for two different countries are completely separate. You can solve the problem by putting a link for one country on one page and for the other country on another page. I know folks who have put one link in a footer and one for a different country in the side bar of the same page.

Should I advertise amazon uk or us affiliates?

Say if you if find a good keyword with low competition for example 'best posture corrector' and you write a good quality post on that keyword is that all you need to do to rank

I would write a number of posts and then interlink them. That internal linking will give Google a strong signal as to what your site/post is about.

However, you could just write a single post and incorporate all of the related/similar keywords into it. Put some in headers for maximum effect.

Personally, I think the first option is best.

Good luck!

thanks for your reply! My site is about health overall, mainly mental, emotional and nutritional, which I'm aware is gonna take a while to rank because its so general.

The problem I'm worried about is how user friendly it is... say if one of my categories is posture, and theres several posts talking about the exact same thing just worded differently its probably going to ruin the user experience. Or do you just hide some of your posts? and do they still rank if you do?

For example 'best brace to correct posture' and 'best posture corrector' posts are going to be about the same thing just worded differently...would you just hide one of the posts so it doesn't impact the user experience when looking around your site?

Hi Kourtney,

You are in luck. I've just written a post about getting getting top ranking on Google which is title "Google will literally kick your ranking to the top if you have this set of Principles"

https://barenakedmarketing.com/top-ranking-on-google

In the post, I've covered all the queries that you have.

And, to answer your questions in your last paragraph:

Both "Best Brace to Correct Posture" and "Best Posture Corrector" seems like the same terms that Google will be looking for in one article.

If you are going to write multiple post and interlink them, you should write "supporting" post, that will increase the value of your preceding post.

For example, in my post above, it is about getting ranked on google, and to rank on google, there are many elements to it.

One of which is to have a good headline for high click-through rate, so I've written another post about how to write amazing headline and interlink them.

Typically, you do not want to write 2 post that talks about the same thing. If you want to interlink post, you have to write post that will added value to each other.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!
Jack

Awesome checked it out then which helped clear a few things up. In regards to your answer about them two keywords I asked about you said google would look for them in the same article. Would that mean I just include both in the article? Or doesn't it matter and I just pick the best one out of the two with the best traffic to competition ratio?

Yup, I will do that.

You must note that there is a chance that Google will not rank your article on your targeted keyword.

Google will rank your article on keywords that they think will be useful to their users.

So, picking the right keyword is a strategy, but it is on Google's discretion to rank your article.

Actually this is good news because you will not only rank for only one keyword.

In fact, you could be ranking for both the keywords that you've mentioned.
