Salt Cave
Is anyone familiar with salt caves like one above?
Have you used it before and what did you notice?
I've been given vouchers to try it out and wanted to hear of any experiences before I venture.

Could you be referring to Himalayan Salt, to salt caves in the Himalayan mountains?
Some sources say it's the oldest pure salt in the world, with traces of all known minerals in it.
Health stores in Switzerland sell it, it might even be purchaseable online......
I've added a picture of how it looks like. It's like a sauna but filled with salt.
Thanks for you comment.
You've edited the post?
Now I see what you mean.
No, never seen one, but it looks interesting!:-)
Hi Kav.
the only thing that comes to my mind is salt extracted from the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, Colombia. The cathedral is part of a larger complex including Parque de la Sal (Salt Park)
See National Geographic video:
Some people consider this salt to have curative effects similar to Epson Salts.

Hope this helps

Looks interesting, I'm all for alternative health. Though never heard of anything like this before, I've heard positive things from Himalayan salt, let us know if you go

Hi,
Hi never used it but looks good.
I will be happy to try it. However, I would look for possible side effects before.
Let me know how it goes!
Lisa
That is why I'm asking for personal experiences. I'll report back.
So far I've not read anything negative.
