Okay guys, so I was trying to install an instagram plugin that came with my paid theme for a couple of days now. I tried 10 different instagram plugins and none of them worked.

Not sure exactly why it's not allowed, it could just be how the particular plugin does connections.. you could try this widget plugin other people seem to have it working, bodily it does what you want!
Good luck, best wishes to you!

Thanks Aaron, I will give that a try too, cheers!

Hey guys! I am working on my website and I like my current theme, but I definitely would want my web-site to look better so I saw a couple of beautiful themes which I LOVED...

Paid themes general have much better support, regular updates, etc. If you build a lot of sites, I highly recommend mythemeshop.com

Yes. IMO, Thrive Themes are the best.

Hi,
I agree with Leo, one of my sites is a paid theme from StudioPress, I love their themes.
The overall usage of the theme is allot better too, actually I think one can't compare free themes with paid themes.
On your question about waiting until you have more content: I would say the sooner the better because some things changed on my site when I bought the theme, like one of my shopping pages is running off the screen (still haven't had time to fix it yet - on my todo list for 2016)
Blessings in abundance
Linda

Does it have certain functional abilities built-in that you need! I only purchased a theme for a product store because of it's functionalities. Here, there are virtually 1000s of free themes to choose from!
Conclusion, if you like it and can afford it, why not, go for it! it will give you extra incentives and will energize you to work with a theme you LOVE, right!
Have fun and success, cheers!

I have one of my site using a paid theme, and if I could afford it all of them would probably be a paid theme - they are just plain better; see Leo's comment below.

I checked out your site - theme not too bad, but definitely IMHO could use something more - just my opinion.

But like Kyle says, it's the content that is most important (and you shouldn't focus on the theme so much).
... but I'm a stickler for aesthetics - so I like a good looking theme.

I use only paid themes and for several reasons which include them being more robust and versatile.

But the two things that are most important to me is first updating, many free themes are not updated as often and some not at all.

And support I use Studiopress themes and they have a support forum so when you have any questions about anything regarding the themes you can jump into that community and get help.

In my opinion spending $50 to $75 for a professional theme is very reasonable.

And the amount of content you have on your site makes no difference regarding when you decide to change to a paid theme. Of course anytime you do a major change make sure you backup your site prior to that change.

It is the internet things can go goofy.

I wish you great luck KatieV. I am kind of in the same spot but I am going to work hard on the content and I believe in what I am doing. I just question myself sometimes. Great success to you KatieV.

Thank you so much Angie for this amazing supportive comment! Good luck to you too, I am sure you're going to do amazing :)

You are too KatieV. I know you are.

Angie

HI I visit your site an cringe at what I see -
The site is very slow to load -
you are talking about health and you then are talking about shakes with WHAT in them
also Burgers with WHAT in them

please get your facts sorted out and learn about what the body really wants - greens, fruit, fibers, plants , water, etc etc - you both look GREAT and you want your readers to believe in you but any one who
has any knowledge will just walk away -

Do not get upset with my comments as I know the industry very well
I am 66 and been down that road - best regards Paul

Paul, I am so sorry you feel this way. A lot of people your age are very critical and are not willing to try new things since they think that their way is the only right way. Health industry is moving forward and coming up with awesome meal replacement shakes that have a great amount of nutrients and vitamins. And my recipe of Tuna Burgers? It's really healthy.

I have nutrition certificate and I am a tennis coach so I definitely have my facts straight and I know what I am talking about. Of course things like fruits, plants, water are very important and I will talk about them as well (FYI I started my web-site two weeks ago). So again, I am sorry that you feel this way. Cheers. Katie

P.S. My dad is 64, looks really young, works out every day, and uses protein as a supplement. Please do your research Paul before you comment on anything else

Hi and thanks for your words I am speaking from experience as I have
Many years experience with Heath and nutrition had my own company a few years ago and had 1000 distributed working for me and the health improvements on some were incredible bit as you say things nice and we learn and now I have learned that we have to look at the basics as I say the natural neutriabts that the body needs but it
Is a never ending story !
Good luck with what you are doing and I do wish you well but please have a real close look at what you are doing because every. Oft is different / best regards. Paul

I honestly believe that paid themes are a great investment. They offer continual support and security updates.

Free themes don't have the same support because the developers don't really have anything driving them to keep updating the theme once it's up there.

Also, usually you can reuse that theme over and over again, with only a one-time fee. :)

Thanks for your comment. I am really starting to think about buying a theme for my web-site

Hi, Katie, indeed they are worth it, the negative thing is that its build by someone else, certain components you can't change without their permission or if you want improvements on it, you need to contact them.
From the look of your site, to me its great, great because its your creation. Indeed you will ad more content, learn how to decorate it, change it the way you feel. This shows the world your creative skills/expertise what you can do. So never underestimate yourself, there are people out there who can't create even simply site, you have created yours and we can see and comment on it. Keep working on your site & content, Katie. CHEERS

Thank you so much for your comment and for your feedback of my web-site. Best of luck to you Luther.

Hi! I started my web-site about 2 weeks ago and I was wondering, how long did it take you guys until you started getting a decent monthly income? I am working really hard on my

Yes, I was wondering too, cheers!

Check this post out:

Have been at it since July. Putting 15 to 20 hrs a week in it. Following all the training and do not have anything to show for it. Beginning to wonder

Hm intersting. I saw your website and it looks really cool. How often are you posting blog posts??

I've been going since end of October, but I also have a job so I'm not working on this 100% of the time yet. I'm at Course 3, Lesson 8. I would also be interested to see what responses you get to your question.

I am on course 3 lesson 6. Let's finish the whole training and then touch base and see how our web-sites doing? :)

Sounds good to me Katie. Let's keep in touch :)

Let's do it! :)
