Hey Katie,

Here are some tutorials that you may find VERY helpful: Hope this helps you.

Thank you so much. I've done these as well ... I wonder if I've messed something up within editor and now I can't make additions to the coding? I dunno ... still a mystery.

You might have Katie, the only way you will know for sure is to go back and remove all of the script ... make sure your website is okay by checking it, to make sure your site loads correctly in a fresh session of your browser... and then try again.

If you miss so much as one tiny character you could cause your website to not function correctly.

In checking your profile for your website URL that should be shared under your "Follow Me on" section, but alas you have chosen not to share it so I cannot offer anymore than guesses.

Hope this helps you.

On Pinterest you can just go to your profile settings and click "Claim Website," then just put in your URL. If it gives you a problem I would contact Pinterest, because it shouldn't give you a problem.

On Bing are you using ads?

I've tried that on Pinterest - it gives me the verification code but after I try to put it in my head tag I get that message above. Same on Bing - Bing said it couldn't verify my website. I'm not sure why it's not being found and verified ...

What’s your website URL?

moneymakingmrs.com

Your website looks great!
Check out these training's on how to verify your website... I hope this helps!

Thank you!

I've contacted site support and it turns out I've done everything right (yay!) ... my theme is corrupt in someway and I've been advised to change it. Hopefully, this will help ... working on it now :)

Best,
Katie

Awesome!

Hi All,

I just published my first blog post on WA! It looked great when I published it but the way it's looking now to readers is AWFUL! The images have all misaligned

Hey Katie,

Thankfully, we can edit posts, questions and comments here at WA. Here's my blog about this: Hope this helps you.

To edit any of your WA blog posts, click on the down-arrow next to the gear icon and then on the Edit option. (see below)

Yes you can edit the post. Click on the gear icon at the top of the page and choose 'Edit'

When you add images put them in between paragraphs instead of in the middle of sentences.

you can click on the cogwheel and click on edit post. Its in the top next to the comments counter.

Can I edit a wa blog post after it's published?

Hi! I"ve searched around a bit to help myself find the answer to my questions but can't quite find it and I'm worried I've made a huge mistake with my set-up so I'm reaching o

Your question is a wee bit hard to understand so have a look at my site and see if its similar to what you want

https://yourownecommercebusinesswebsite.com

Thanks Robert - ya know on your site - when I hover over the Affiliate Marketing page on your menu you have this lovely drop down that readers can click through ... how do I do that?

Best,
Katie

All the articles under those Menu Headings are PAGES not posts.

Simple to do.
Once you have your article published (as a page) you then go into Appearances - Menus.

You have your MAIN Menu selected then you simply tick the little box next to your recently published page and click Add to Menu.

You will see its been moved over

You simply place that article under the headier of your choice.

See my pic. Its for Posts but the same applies for Pages.

You get stuck get back to me but I will be signing off soon as its getting late here.
Robert

Thank you, Robert!

But, if I change my posts to pages (to get them on the menu) doesn't that mean that readers can no longer comment on them?

I'll have a play around your site in the meantime to see how you've got yours set-up. It's a great site!

I'll chat with you tomorrow - it's late here too. UK member here :)

Katie

Of course you can allow comments on pages as well as posts.
Its also not a problem putting your posts under those menu headers just like you would do with pages.

Mess about with it for a wee while but not too much messing or you will lose track.
Now I'm def off for the night.
Maybe catch you tomorrow.
Robert

Thank you, Robert. I've got the menu sorted out thanks to your help :)

Cheers,
Katie

No probs, you get stuck again, you get in touch with people like myself.
A lot of members although with good intentions can put you on the wrong track.
Always best to contact people like me who have been around marketing and WA for a few years.
Enjoy your Tuesday.

Hey Katie,

If you have an image editing software (Example: Paint for Windows), or online free (like Canva) you could use your logo along with text to create a header image the size that your theme requires.

The file size my logo is, I was able to use it either way ... and I preferred to make my logo smaller in order to add the text. See screen print below...

Hope this helps you.
