You Never Get Anything If You Don't Ask
So here I am researching for my next content, learning so much about the little meal worm, ha-ha ... I come to a business that has really cool tools that they have invented to make the job of raising the critters easier. I would really like to link to this business so folks can get the cool tools if they want them....but
Just a small business, they had no affiliate program.
So I emailed over, and said if he had an affiliate program going, I would link to my site tomorrow.
He said he would look into what it took to have an affiliate program!
I was very pleased. When you can connect with someone, share an idea, and have them be open-minded and positive, all through email, its pretty cool.
Well, it took him a couple of days, but he emailed back, having found, and set up, an affiliate program that I could be affiliated with, and earn commissions linking his cool tools to my site!!
I have a strong belief in the old adage: You will not get what you want unless you ask for it.
Asking for the affiliate program really worked for me this time. I appreciate that. It seems its 'in the flow' of everything that is happening to me here at WA. As I understand what I am doing to build this thing called a website, I'am also building my own confidence in speaking to people through my reviews...
What makes yours stand out to people
What do you say that causes that spark of interest in people
And then technical stuff like searching for keywords and finding them, and slipping them into you're write-up smoothly, as though they had been there all along, as though they belonged there
I found out you could literally search the keyword on anything important you were saying in your writing. find a keyword and write it in, seamlessly. This is what I started doing. I think it's the phrase 'keyword rich' that Kyle always refers to. Hope so anyways...lol
Google has indexed all of my writings so far, so I'm thinking that's a good thing. I searched for one and found it on page 19...lol... Kyle said, any page greater than 20, your not doing well. So I laughed and did a little dance. 19 is better than 20 da da da da
I really enjoy what I'm doing with the websites. fills my mind dawn till dusk,, thinking thinking always to improve, and how to do this and that. Most days I could pull my hair because what do I write? What do I review? But I think going forward this phase shall pass as I gain confidence from the training.
Anyways, remember, if you want something, ask for it.
That's the only way your ever going to get it.

I agree with you, Kathleen.
If you want...you have to ask. Especially when it comes to affiliations. There are so many great products out there that do not have affiliate programs and many times the reason is that the owner is not versed in offering affiliate programs.

I tried the same thing on Laurel Burch's brother, who runs her company since her death. He said it sounded interesting and he would look into it, but have heard nothing. I guess I should go rattle his cage again.
