Wow, so much done today!
For two weeks now I have been stuck. Trying to figure everything out, how to arrange my reviews to please google, how to manage widgets and menus on my site. Such small things, but huge in the overall picture. Do you know I actually got two quotes onto my website, and they look good, and they stayed there!
I have many 1000's of words written, 4 posts that have not been published yet...arrg... SAC is calling for 12... that's why I'm behind the pack...with only 4 published, but I'm not giving up! I will continue to walk forward until I reach Las Vegas on foot if need be!
How many times can one woman watch the same tutorial? Well a LOT according to this woman. Over and over, something is eventually going to get stuck in the brain, right?
Study and study. I have spent hours and hours reading in this period of time, looking at websites far and wide, watching training videos.
I'm so afraid its not going to make sense to me. That I won't be able to do it. Anyone else have these 'self-sabatoge' episodes? where you run yourself down, until your not much more than a lump of dirt?
What pulls you out of these tail spins? My wonderful husband Sam is really great at getting me out of the mud-hole after I've fallen in. He is a pure logic kinda guy, sets me straight every time!
My colleage here at WA, Fran Kelso is a great help to me, just because she is steady and practical. Its nice to make a friend online, that lives in a remote place you visited once on a cruise ship! WA is like that though, so many interesting people from all over the world, ready to be friends and help.
We're all standing on this WA platform, fishing the internet ocean. That's a way I envision it sometimes.
It's always astonishing to me, that when I'm tearing my hair about some little thing, I see someone has done a tutorial on it. And the tutorials follow in the footsteps of Kyle, showing you exactly what to do step by step. I love that.
Anyways, today I learned a few important wee things, like organizing my side widgets!
I have a website for my music, and I actually put a song on there today, and it plays!! Anyone on earth can go there and listen to Beautiful Daughters now...while they read the about me...ha ha ha, cause that's all I have posted there so far !
Do you know what this means to me? well a lot. I'm so pleased to have that song there. Its a miracle of modern technology I tells ya!

Kathleen,. Honey I have been there. Average notes until I have spasms in my arm and hand. I read and until i have a migraine and my eyes are blurry. I get it. We all learn in different ways. Don't stress out, give yourself time. You know more than you think you do. This can be very overwhelming .

Hey, I know about watching a tutorial over and over, trying to get it all to stick. We need a product called "brain glue." I wonder if someone will invent it.

Go to your profile settings. There's a place there where you can enter your web address if you choose to. It goes at the very bottom of your profile, under your list of posts.
