Wealthy Affiliate: April 2016
Hey WA fam!
This is way long overdue but here is my post of my small achievements at WA in April. Better late than never!
1. Twitter embed
Following Tony's tutorial on embedding Twitter post, I joyfully added one of my tweets on my blog.
Here is the tutorial I am talking about: Twitter Embed Tweet onto Post and or Widget
Shout out to Tony @TonyHamilton ! Thanks a bunch :)
2. Header design change
Changed the design of the header for one of my blogs - the old written part of the header kept bothering me and one day I realized that I could just use the same header and rewrite the blog name in paint program until I get a professional header.
Before:
After:
Not a big deal really but that day I just really wanted to change something so I improvised :)
3. Bio Teaser
For the same blog I also did the bio teaser.
However I hated the original font of the teaser (small and not pretty at all), and after a few long hours of experimenting with HTML stuff, I finally did it!
Here is how it looks now:
Since I had ZERO knowledge in HTML stuff, I felt like a FRIGGIN' GENIUS! :D
And now I have a bio teaser that is pleasant to my eyes (what do you think, is it pleasant to the readers' eyes too?)
In addition to that I changed my sidebar widgets too, although this is still under testing.
4. Amazon Sale
Small Amazon sale through my post :)
It was a book that I was recommending on my Life In Kaizen Style Blog post. Still a success :)
5. Banners to Open In A New Window
When I was experimenting with sidebar widgets, I noticed that most of my banners do not automatically open in a new window/tab. I did research and learned about an easy way to make that happen.
As a result, a new training tutorial was born:
How to Open an Affiliate Banner In a New Window
There are a lot more of small successes that I achieved throughout that month, but I will stick with the most significant ones for now :)
What do you think?
Please, share your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks for your support, Rudi :)
A few months ago I created this training on time management that I find effective: Effective Time Management Tips So I try to follow the basic principles to achieve my goals! :)
Awesome Zarina,
I am so happy that you found the training valuable and useful my Friend.
Keep sharing & caring,
Tony
Yes, it was easy to follow and easy to incorporate. Thanks a lot for your contribution, Tony! :)
Excellent job on your accomplishments and I can tell you have been working hard, and the Bio looks very nice. Keep on moving forward
Thank you, Tom! :)
I am super proud of my bio teaser - it took me forever to do the way I am satisfied with, given that I am NOT a HTML person haha
Honestly, there are benefits to being a perfectionist but sometimes it really annoys! I hate that bugging feeling lol
So I am working on myself to be less of a perfectionist sometimes!
