What I've learnt so far:
This is a wonderful site! Less than week ago I can't even remember what I Googled and this site/link caught my eye. I clicked and started reading. Well! I'm oficially HOOKED, ADDICTED, whatever you want to call it!
I have my own fashion business. I don't have a brick and mortar. I attend tradeshows events in different cities in Alberta Canada. I love the interaction I have with women and help them find the right style/look for them. I love making a women feel confident in what she is wearing. Being in my mid 50's I love demonstrating that you can still have that "youthful spirit"!!
BUT, Trade shows can be labor intensive. Physically setting up and tearing down for over 5 years now can take a toll on you!
So I've been searching for an online business that I can call my "side hustle" (love the new fad word..hehe) but still interact with women. But have the freedom to travel for pleasure...without a trailer!! Lol
So here I am! After seeing this site, I needed to look around and get a feel for what this is all about. I wanted to keep an opened mind but still cautious. I've been thrown so many MLM oppurtunties over the years. Lost a few so-called friends because I said no to some. Crashed and burned on a few! :#
I've been amazed and a little overwhelmed of the amount of learning there is on here! Then after a few days I said "screw-it" I will pay that $19 and continue!
So far I've learnt to:
NOT go beyond the phrases of training
Be patient with yourself
After each lesson, work on the process before moving on to the next lesson
Be respectful and respond to the wonderful people in this community that reach out to you!!
Ask questions! Ok. I haven't Yet! I will!!
Welcome newbies to the community, even if you are a newbie yourself!!
BLOG! I have to admit, I'm a little lost of what content I want to write about! I write down subjects and then I go blank. I'm stuck on the phrase 1 of my learning. I'm guilty of a problem....SHINY OBJECT SYNDROME. I struggle with it. More on that subject another time!! I promised myself I will not skip over this subject until I work on it!
THANK YOU everyone for welcoming me to this wonderful community! You are the reason I'm still here! Ok and the training!! Lol

It is indeed a step by step process that requires focus and patience.
I had the Shiny Object Syndrome virus as well, but finally managed to shake it off. I think it comes with experiencing more than enough of the syndrome and realize how silly I've been.
I'm all over my Blog and setting content goals helped me to stay focused. I laugh at SOS these days and it is an amazing feeling to know that it won't effect me anymore. Success takes time, hard work and patience.
