Why I write what I write

If you set goals and go after them with all the determination you can muster your gifts will take you places that will amaze you. ~Les Brown

I love to go to amazing places. That's why I write fiction when I am not writing news articles for the newspaper at which I work or writing my blogs for my businesses.

I have about 50 journals that I have filled (I have told my spouse to destroy many of them should anything ever happen to me!)

I write what I write in these WA blogs to inspire and to give hope to my fellow WA family members. I don't write what I write here to brag about my progress or to make anyone feel badly because they are not where I am yet.

I hope I am doing a good job.

As some of you remember, I had asked a question a few months ago about starting a new blog about giving people some daily hope. I call the site Five Minutes to Happiness and am doing it on the siterubix platform because it isn't really set up to make money, but rather to inspire and give hope. (I hope this isn't shameless self promotion!) If you do want to check it out, you can find the link on my profile page.

Ultimately, I write what I write because it is a way for me to express myself. I am not very good at speaking. I get tongue-tied and can't think of what to say. But on the page...there's no stopping me!

I hope you all have a great day! And visit someplace amazing today!

Best wishes,
Karin :)

Thanks for sharing. I to have the same problem when around people, don't know what to talk about or say to them. Always been that way for me.

Wayne

Your not on your own, if I have to say anything in meetings I find it's so much easier to say my piece if its written down. Also I enjoy the fact that it's editable, that's impossible with the spoken word, your post makes so much sense. Thanks for sharing.

Karin, I am not an author but I do the same thing. I don’t do well in crowds and never know what to say. But on here there is no stopping me.

It is so nice to relate to your post. And you are not bragging. If others see it that way then they can’t deal with their own jealousy.

Thank you for this post.

Laura

I am the same way. I get tongue tied when it comes to speaking but give me the written (typed) word and I am off to the races.

I look forward to taking a look at your blog.

Karin,
Keep writing!! You're a great writer!

I think your blogs are both informational and uplifting. You're doing a great job at both. I have lots of ideas in my head, but never seem to get the time to put them down on paper. It's easier for me to talk than to write sometimes.

Karin,
I know what you mean. I find it easier to write than to speak.

Karin, I love what you write, why and how! I find it confusing as well whether people think I'm trying to sell them something. It seems even more so when you're just trying to help others. I am glad for the invitation, and feel better knowing you're here cheering on the whole team. I am pretty sure Wealthy Affiliates are quite proud of your effort and progress.
Kind Regards,
Nurse Becca
