Who is running whom?
Something will master and something will serve. Either you run the day or the day runs you; either you run the business or the business runs you. - Jim Rohn
I don't know about you, but I love the wisdom of the late Jim Rohn! He had a way of making you think about things in a different way.I am currently liking my day job. That isn't always true. Do you know when it isn't true? When that job "runs" me!
I am not a boss by any means, but that doesn't mean that I like to have every waking hour dictated to me by a job or by anything else!
When we are out working at our day jobs or already to the point where our blogs/websites are our "day job," we need to always remember that we must run the day, we must run the business—our business! We must be the master and "serve" our businesses well!
Just a little food for thought for today!
Best wishes, as always,
Karin :)

Jim Rohn is very inspiring. I use to have his little book of quotes and wish I could find it but his words feed your mind. :)

Hi Karen,
I was on a mouse wheel for years and years. No time to think, race from the day job back home for the 2nd job of the day. then collapse in exhaustion. Weekends full of children's sport & Sunday
for the house work.
Never did find out how to be my own boss. Guess this time I will have to make it work better.
Good post.
