The meaning of life
You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life. ~Albert Camus
No, I do not purport to know the meaning of life. From what Camus says (above), we really won't live if we are looking for the meaning of life.
If I were to give a definition, the best one I could give you is to just live.
That doesn't mean we shouldn't plan our lives to the extent that we can.
That doesn't mean we shouldn't have goals.
What it does mean is that instead of continually striving for meaning, that we live lives that have meaning.
Maybe that sounds a bit confusing, but what I mean is that we live lives that go beyond just our normal thoughts about what living is. Part of that might be our legacy. Part of that legacy may be our children or grandchildren. It might be our life's work.
In some ways, I like to believe that I am leaving a legacy through my websites. If they tell a story of life and of meaning, then I have succeeded no matter what the topic is.
Many of the websites that you, my WA family, write are filled with life and history and giving of yourselves! Those are my favorite ones to read! It doesn't matter if they are a review of a product or a way for others to join WA. If you have given a piece of yourself, you have given your post life!
Could our posts hold the meaning of life?
In my humble opinion, the answer is "YES!"
So keep on writing those posts that reveal a bit of your heart. Those are the ones that will make the difference!
Best wishes for a great week!
Karin :)

Karin,
It's 8:30 here. I've written a comment, welcomed a new follower, read some of my notes from yesterday, wondered why my ranking number went up from where it was yesterday, and here you come
with something else to ponder. But it's all good. Too often, I think most of us consider the meaning of life to be getting from one morning to the end of that day without disgracing ourselves.
Everything we do leaves a mark on history, perhaps we should think what that mark might be and resolve to give history the best that we have.
Barbara!
Awesome thoughts and what a busy morning you had!
Have a great day!
Best wishes,
Karin :)

From what I understand, once something is put out on the net it lives there forever. My hope is that the content I share on my site/sites will have as much of an impact on someone else as all that I have read here has had on me. You will all very much be a part of my historical journey through life and conquering the online world, thank you. :)
Cheers,
Sherri
