One week without WA makes one weak

It has been nearly one week since we have had any contact with the citizens on Wealthy
Affiliate. The lack of contact has...weakened the crew and signs are very evident that something must be done soon or a continued deterioration of the project known as Karin13 will continue.
We are not sure what caused the lack of contact, however, the effects of it are quite evident including:
- Lack of enthusiasm for writing blog posts
- Lack of research taking place
- Dietary changes
- Slow onset depressive reactions
The solution is clear—contact must be restored posthaste!

This is a phrase I used to hear in church a lot. (Well, not the WA part, I think it was "one week without prayer makes one weak".)
But I am finding that the WA part is true, too!
It has actually been nearly two weeks since I have done anything on here or on my own websites. I take that back, last weekend I did help my friend with her website that we are doing through WA hosting.
But other than that, I have been mostly just deleting all WA emails, all emails from everyone, in fact.
It has been bringing on some emotional eating situations. Like the other day at work. I told the girls I work with that I was feeling a little depressed so I was "going to eat my way through it!"
I made it a joke, but the truth remains, I have been getting down on myself, on life, etc. and I blame it partially on not connecting with you all!
Believe it or not WA family, you folks have been my rock, my fortress, my place to go when times get tough. Even if I don't post anything, just reading your posts makes me feel connected.
The reality is, I can't do this without this community. I am a people-oriented person and having you all to "listen" to me keeps me strong! Am I the only one who feels this way? I don't think so...
I know I have a lot of catching up to do, but even telling you all my short story, I am feeling stronger and more connected...
No more weeks off! Onward and upward!

Your post really resonated with me. I think we all feel like this, in any aspect of our life; I can procrastinate: enthusiasm wanes, excuses are immediately ready, or sometimes it’s a real block of what to do next. But what is so helpful here is an amazing community to keep us going , encouraging and genuinely connecting
I am glad to have others who are feeling like I do from time to time.

I know what you mean. I have just had a cataract removed from my left eye, so I have not been able to do any reading. To add insult to injury, the internet has been down for 3 days due to the storm. Anyway, on my way to recovery and hitting the training modules now.
I am glad to see you are not letting anything keep you down! A brief disconnect and then back at it.

Getting back into a routine can be hard, but it can be done. I took off a couple of weeks around Christmas time and I could tell it was hard to get back to. I did find my passion again and I am back at it full force.
