Not feeling as lost today [update]
I just wanted to give everyone an update on the status of my cell phone...
It was dead! Not a battery problem, just a dead phone.
I was able to get a new one on Saturday and because I had recently purchased more cloud space, I was able to retrieve everything including all my photos, my contacts, my calendar...EVERYTHING!
Phew (big sigh of relief).
For those of you who are doing your websites, etc with your cell phones, I know you understand!
Anyway, I wanted to thank all of you who gave me advice or condolences. It was a difficult few days, but I only forgot one meeting, so I guess I didn't do too bad.
I am heading out to cover a Memorial Day program now. I will be back on for the SAC soon!
Wishing you all a great day! And again, thanks for all the help!
Best wishes,
Karin π

Yes, good point. Unfortunately all the charging in the world would not have saved my other phone. It was stuck in death mode.

It is Linda. It hate to admit how much I rely on that thing... It's taught me a lesson though, don't put everything into one thing!

Unfortunately my daughter just learnt that lesson too.
Sometimes its the only way we learn, from experience. (((Hugs)))
It's amazing how dependent we are on our phones. When my dog Gus was a puppy (that's him pictured), I fell asleep with my phone on my chest. I woke up to a destroyed phone! On a 3 day weekend. Really frustrating! For me anyway, Gus thought it was great I'd gotten him a new toy!
Glad you got through it.
May be Gus was trying to contact his buddies but you did not gave him the password, hehe just joking.
Well, at least Gus seems to have had a good time!
Very frustrating, though. My cat has sunk her teeth through my charging cords before. She thought she was helping, I guess...
Best wishes,

Gus is 4 now, and over his puppy ways. I fall asleep with my kindle open often, and we went through 2 kindles and 3 cases before he outgrew thinking they were great toys. You would think I would have learned. . .

Good job Karin, the advances in technology saved your life!
Cal
Thanks, Cal! Well, if not my life, at least a lot of time and work to retrieve everything manually!
