My 250th WA blog post
This is my 250th post on Wealthy Affiliate. But I just realized that I have only done 107 posts on my personal blog site. Hmmm.... I think I have a way to go on that.
But for just a moment, I wanted to share why I post fairly frequently on WA.
Why?
For me, it is a matter of attempting to encourage my fellow humans. I share highlights, low lights and just plain lights! I share quotes by inspirational and motivational people like the late Jim Rohn among others.
In my attempts to encourage, I sometimes fail. I mean, I guess we can't have a "hit" every time, right?
It's like with SEO, not every single one is going to be perfect or draw the traffic to our posts that we hope it will.
But, my thought is, if I write enough, and it encourages at least one person, then it is worth it to have a few fails now and then.
Nobody wants to fail
I don't want to fail. You don't want to fail. Here at WA, most of us are learners and we fail—sometimes a lot!
The great thing is that we have each other to look to for encouragement and advice and excellent lessons.
I asked a question yesterday and Kyle himself answered it. He reminded me that I have everything I need here at WA and don't need to look at shiny objects to get what I need.
I looked at the information I was considering. I thought about it a moment and then promptly unsubscribed and deleted the email.
In fact, over the past week I have unsubscribed from over 50 groups, emails, newsletters, etc.
It was really cool today to check my e-mail and see that 95% were emails from Wealthy Affiliate! I could actually take a moment to read a few of them! I was getting close to 1000 emails a day and couldn't possibly even look at them all! Today I received a little over 100. What a great change that was!
Focus, Girl!
So, I am going to be attempting to get my personal blog sites closer to the number of posts I have on WA, but I will still be a frequent poster here, as well. Apparently, I feel I have a lot to say!! As long as you all are willing to read my posts, I will keep writing them! :)
My focus is getting better, but I still have a way to go. If I can get my focus down, I am going to write a Kindle book! I actually love to write. Good thing since it is my 9 to 5 job, too!

Just imagine how great your site would be doing if you had spent all that time creating 250 posts on your site. You would have tons of organic traffic and presumably, be making some great commissions.
We all need to remember that we created an online business and we need to focus the majority of our energy on that and only do things here on WA part-time. Just my opinion.
I know. I have been giving that a lot of thought lately. My focus needs to be on my business sites. But I still enjoy encouraging you all here! :)
