If this were NaNoWriMo I'd be done
As I was writing a post tonight, I happened to look up and see that I had now reached 51,015 words in the 56 articles I have published. I know that should be closer to 56,000 words, but sometimes I feel that I am able to say what I need to say in fewer words. I don't want to fill my posts with a bunch of "fluffy filler" so when I have reached the end, I stop writing.
But the point is since June I have written that many words! I am thrilled. I never thought I would write this many words. Even though I work at a newspaper and I write stories every day, they are not what I consider these words because these are my own—out of my own head with no prompting except the desire to write them!
I don't intend to stop writing any time soon! Good thing this isn't NaNoWriMo because I have a lot more to say!
We all need to celebrate our little accomplishments! It helps keep us motivated and it shows us that we are progressing!
Keep on keeping on, Friends!
Best wishes,
Karin :)

Hey Karin,
Congrats on your accomplishments. I agree with you that I don't try to just add filler/fluff words to increase my word count.

Congratulations Karin. It is great when you can so easily operate your thoughts and wrap them into the words.
I am wondering how many visitors do you have.
Wish you the same productivity in earnings.
Thank you. Not a lot of visitors yet, but it is slowly increasing beyond just WA members so that is a plus!
Best wishes,
Karin :)
Karin,
Congratulations,
I never really paid that much attention I just post away I know that
all my posts do not reach 1000 words but then some go over the 1000 words - I am like you once I am done with all the facts
then the post is done :)
Thank you for sharing great work :)
Yes. I think that is the best way to write. Sometimes I will read a post that should have stopped at around 500 words and those can be difficult to read because of the "filler". I don't notice much difference in indexing posts that are longer or shorter. Do you?
Best wishes,
Karin :)
Karin,
In answering honestly "No" I have had posts that are only 600
words indexed faster than 1500 words :)
Thanks for replying

Amazing, isn't it? Somehow the words just fall out of your mind onto the paper. Keep it up!
Yes. On those occasions where I write far more than 1000 words, I am amazed at how easy it went. It isn't always that way, but sometimes it is.
Best wishes,
Karin :)
