Every day is the best day of the year
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
When I read this quote today, I just knew I had to share it with my fellow Wealthy Affiliate family!
If we treat every day as the best day of the year—whoa! Just think of how much happier we could be? I don't know about you, but I sure like to be happy.
Most of the time, being happy is just who I am. I like to laugh and make others laugh and smile. I try to keep the complaints down to a minimum and try to not lose my temper with our puppy who is still going through some major growing and training pains!
My granddaughter—the source of a lot of my joy—will often say after we've spent the day doing something that we enjoy—like coloring or watching her favorite show or just
having a little tea party—"This was the best day ever!" She actually says it quite often and that makes me glad because I feel like I am in some small way giving her a good life! (Even though I can get a little crabby at times!)That's my granddaughter with our puppy on her lap. He's quite a bit bigger now.
As we work toward our goals, especially those related to our work on our websites, I would just encourage you to repeat what my granddaughter says!
Let's make each day the best day ever!

You are so right Karin. Mind you, it's not always easy to accomplish. Last year we suffered several tragedies in our family. It's hard for a day to be the best one ever when you lose loved ones. But I will certainly be trying out this philosophy during 2019. Thanks Jim
It is never easy to lose loved ones and I am sorry that those tragedies happened for you. You're right, too, how can it be the best day ever when bad things are happening. I know things are hard, but our attitudes can dictate how we act and react. I think the way we handle the bad things in life can really help others through their trying times, too. That's how I try to view those things, even when it's really hard.
Best wishes,
Karin :)
