Back to the grind
I am back with my nose to the grindstone! It's been a busy few weeks as the contractors were working on the inside of my home fixing the floors that received extensive water damage as a result of the tornado that did damage to my home. It's been extra busy because my granddaughter and I have been working on managing all the work ourselves. But we are almost done finding new homes for the items that had to be moved to be able to do the floors. We put in hardwood flooring and now the house echoes! I suppose it will be better once we get the furniture moved back upstairs, but right now, it ECHOES!
I took this time and worked on some goals for my websites along with a schedule for making posts to the sites. I am even working on my grandson's site and my soon-to-be-ex-spouse's site. I don't know much about hunting (my grandson's site), but I will take a "shot" at researching it. I don't know much about horses either (spouse's website), but I can attempt to "lasso" in some information to put on that site!
There have been times when I have been really sad and in despair over what is happening in my personal life, but I know that in many ways this is for the best and I will do my best to make the most of the situation.
Each day of the week I now have a schedule for posts. I am hoping that as I am doing my research I will be able to write several articles for each topic which will help me get ahead.
Since I have seven distinctly different websites I know it will be a challenge to write a post each day for different topics, but I think some could apply to more than one site.
For example, I have my make money online site which is my umbrella site. Then, I have the following:
- Author site
- Diabetes site
- Grandparents site
- Horse site
- Hunting site
- Daily inspiration site
I am also looking at creating a new site about surviving divorce. Well, not just surviving but thriving. In fact, I just bought the domain for it!
I am by no means an expert in any of these areas, but I will tell you this much, most people are not experts until they start exploring. Will I ever have all the answers? No. Will any of us? No.
Anyway, I hope that I can offer some helpful advice to my readers and potential customers!
By the way, for those of you who are interested, National Novel Writing Month begins tomorrow! Let's get that novel written this time! 50,000 words in 30 days!
Hope you all have a tremendous week!

Hello Karin,
You are the epitome of the phrase, never give up. Sorry to hear your home was damaged by the tornado. On the positive side, you will end up with a new interior. trust me, the echo will go away once you have your window coverings, furniture, and other trappings back inside.
Don't work too hard.
Cheers.
Edwin
I won't give up. I cannot. I have a little girl that relies on me every day to do my best. I want her to grow up and see that you can work hard and get what you want!
Thanks for your comment, Edwin!

🤔 Thanks for letting me know about National Novel Writing month, Karin!
You will survive your situation! I am a widower and I have two divorces under my belt, and a long term separation right now!
You will make this just fine, my friend!
Keep succeeding!
Jeff🙏
Yes. You will have to let me know how your writing goes for this month. I have written 2 words on my novel so far! LOL That was the title!
There are certainly times that I do not want to survive this, but I know that I will and be better for it. Right now I am focusing on how to design the divorce site.
Take care. I appreciate your comments and you!

You're very welcome, Karin!
My writing has been a bit slow, since I got some work today, but I'll get there!
Jeff😎👍
I was able to write a few hundred words today. Not quite the 1667 I had hoped for, but it's a start. I will have to catch up!
Karin
It happens that way sometimes, Karin! In the coming days, you will get in the zone, my friend, and then it will be automatic!

My heart goes out to you re the water damage. Living in Vietnam we tend to get bad storms now and again. The last one smashed some glass on the ceiling over an open staircase. Yup, water damage…floating floor …a real floating floor…and the smell. ..luckily this time there were no stakes. Hope you get it all fixed..
