I completed the first course today. But I left feeling quite dizzy and a touch scared. I find myself doubting my niche and wondering if this will even work. Is a niche focused
Yes, it is alright and yes you are definitely overwhelmed take a step back and breathe and relax everything is going to be fine. Just follow the training step by step and take notes so you can refer back to them and if you get stuck just ask questions but you will be fine. I was overwhelmed when I first started but I took that step back and focus and I am fine right now. I hope this helps you out

Has anyone else felt overwhelmed in the beginning?

It sounds like you definitely have the right mindset of what you want your website to provide for its visitors. Honestly speaking, the first time I finished the first course I felt the same way. It was a combination of feeling uneasy and doubting whether or not I'd be able to sell to people, let alone bring people to even look at my website. The feeling will go away on its own though once you start getting into the groove of things.
Think of it as the first 2 weeks of school. But once you're on the 2nd course and on your way to the 3rd, you'll see how well you can make your niche work. And if you wanna really see if you'll gain audience, just click on the research tab on the left hand side, and search analysis. This will let you put in a few keywords and see just how much traffic those specific keywords get. Hope this helps. I use the jaaxy tool whenever I'm unsure if a keyword is too broad or not. Good luck Kamie!
Thank you so very much for the kind words. New things have always frightened me and yet somehow my adventurous spirit pushes me anyway. I haven't done much in life so this is like a lunar landing experience.

As long as you do your training and you stay in contact with the community all will be well
