Are keywords not working like they should?
Hi Guys
So I have been here nearly 4 months and still trying to get that first sale lol :p
When I decided to check why my traffic is so low with 0 conversions it seems that the keywords I use are not working or I am doing something wrong. All my posts that I have used keywords for are not showing up on Google search.
Please search this LHF keyword:
Honest and company
QSR of 12 and over 6500 traffic hits but I have not seen any traffic nor can I find my article (not even on page 2) when searching for it on Google.
Can someone please help me figure out why a article written on the 8th of March is not yet ranked or found on page 1 or 2 when searching?

Just because the qsr is 12 doesn't mean that you only have 12 competition, like you said searching that term on google will return alot of different results. To be honest i'm not sure what your keyword means and probably google doesn't understand it either. This could be the problem.

This was probably a bad example to use but at least I have a much better understanding how the qsr works, I was under the impression that this determined the position when searching.

Well it does if you use quotes around your search, since it means quoted search results. I believe if you typed in "honest and company" your website will definitely be in the first page but the problem is not many people ( or no one ) searches with quotes.

Yes, I certainly don't use quotes when searching, don't think anyone does that.
I came on this morning to ask a very similar question. I've been using key words that are 200 qsr or less when put into the wealthy affiliate keyword tool, but when I check Google search I am either not listed or I am on the 5th or 6 page of Google search. I know that 200 is a lot, but even when I choose a keyword that is less than 100 I don't rank.
What qsr are you targeting Kamil?
QSR is 12 that's why I am surprised, 3 weeks after I wrote the article no rank. Not even page 2 in the 12th spot :/
IMO the keyword 'Honest and company' is not targeted to anything? What does it mean? How can google determine what this keyword means? When I google the keyword, what ranks is 'The Honest Company' by Jessica Alba. What is your 'Honest and company' post about?
In this case I used the word Honest as a character so it's Honest and "his" company, if you read the article it should make more sense than this explanation but the keywords should be picked up according to the lessons I saw on SEO.

Google tries to ranks things according to relevancy to the query at the end of the day. They want what they think is the best result for the person on the other end to rank on page one so that the customer/person gets there answer straight away. So from looking at the search results, google sees the intent of this keyword to not be about what you are writing about. That is my impression.
As for QSR, this is more of a gauge to determine how many people use that exact phrase on their site. A keyword can have 0 QSR yet be very difficult to rank for. Sites on page 1 may already have huge authority and cover the topic in great depth without using the exact keyword in their title. So more research is usually required beyond just the QSR imo.

I agree. More advanced keyword research should be in the main training. However there is much keyword training floating around WA. Just knowing about it and finding it is the missing link

I am listed on the top pages on google search , but actually traffic is small. I just added a different key word to my main page to see what happens then ------ try a search for me Kidney dialysis diet, and ill do one for you

It can also be a function of the amount and the depth of the traffic to the #12 ...
