I had a lawyer draw up a contract to promote one of my affiliate programs, which is a Forex Broker.

The contract allows me to hire sub-affiliates who will receive a part

Hello, If by sub-affiliates you mean an affiliate program on a website. Then yes I have an affiliate program on one of my websites. It is new and I only have one affiliate right now. I have had a few applications but they did not meet the criteria so I had to deny them.

Since it is still new I am still ironing out some minor issues. I have high hopes for it but then again I have high hopes for everything I do.

If I can help with more information feel free to PM me.

Laura

I've never used sub affiliates personally. I'm not sure if I quite understand it, to be honest.

I refer to sub-affiliates as actual people marketing a product for you. In my case, they get a cut of the commission when they do a successful referral.

So I guess my question is, if they're marketing the product, in this case Forex, why wouldn't they just do it for themselves and receive 100% of the commission from Forex instead of only a partial from you?

Because they aren't interested in affiliate marketing or do not have enough knowledge to do what we as online affiliates do. They are however interested in making an additional side income.

There's a similar structure here in South Africa where people sell beauty products from a catalog. Each item they sell or create an order, they get a commission from it.

I've applied this with my sub-affiliate approach where I create the blog posts and other marketing materials and they (sub-affiliates) can get a cut of the commission.

In the the years that I have done affiliate marketing, I haven't met a single person in real life that does the same as me. Knowledge is limited here and affiliate marketing and passive income are still risky words that is thrown around and isn't trusted. People still prefer hard work and desk jobs here for security reasons. Sub-affiliates is my bridge to that gap.

What I'd like to know is if someone have tried outsourcing the online marketing part to people who market offline, from networks and such?

I think I'm just misunderstanding something here, Ian, lol. So when you say they'd be marketing for you, what are they going to be doing exactly? Because if they say they're not interested in affiliate marketing, but at the same time they're willing to market other people's products and are looking to get commissions, well then they're affiliate marketing, lol.

Selling beauty products from a catalog and earning a commission is pretty straightforward, and that was really the basis of my question. Let's say I was selling from a catalog, and getting commissions for doing so, and then I decided to hire people to also sell those products for me and I would share my commission with them, why wouldn't they just sell for themselves and get the whole commission from the catalog instead of a partial commission from me?

By working under me they'd just getting paid less for the same work amount of legwork on their part.

But again, I'm sure I'm missing some information here because it just doesn't make sense to me, lol.

Personally, I can't see hiring someone to market to networks that would just as easily be available for me to market to. And if someone came along and said, "oh I have a huge network I can market your stuff to, the question I'd have, again, is why aren't they just marketing products for themselves?" In other words, how successful a marketer can they be if they're willing to take only a partial commission instead of a full one?

Hi there. No I have not tried that but I am interested to see what others have to say about it.

Hi everyone.

I want to know if you need to re-index your site in Google after it expired and you have submitted it to be hosted again?

Yes. If the site has been down, it will get de-indexed and you will get it up and running a lot faster by submitting your sitempa in search console and requesting indexing. I just had my site down for couple of weeks on accident and lost all traffic but it bounced back in a similar time frame.

Do you need to re-index your site if it expired?

I've come across non-affiliate entrepreneurs who promotes copy writing as a skill to boost sales.

Have any of you applied the copy writing skill to your posts and cal

Looks like you've got some good answers there, Ian!

Jeff

No one likes to be sold to and although there could be some clever tricks in copywriting, this is not what will bring people to your website to buy.

Quality, informative, interesting posts. Unique to your perspective will hold people everytime. They will want to know your opinion.

A sales page is very specific to showing the benefits of a product, it's factual and has a strong call to action. You are using persuasion but it's more blatant.

Your blog or posts are informative, supportive, doing comparisons, creating reviews on various similar products.

As suggested, save your money and write from the heart.

Lily 😁🎶

Copywriting is a separate skill but no that's for a sales page as an affiliate you are making a recommendation.

Read that book above its cheaper than a copywriting couirse

Hi Catherine,

Thanks for the advice. How would you define or separate a sales page from a page that makes recommendations?

I'll definitely put that book on my reading list.
