If you find the advice or comment to be of help to you, that's all good otherwise just delete it without responding. Try not to let this cause frustration in you. I do understand what you are saying as it often happens to me.

The WA culture of paying it forward is instilled right from the start. I feel that is the motivation behind these comments.
Rather than focusing on these low value comments, just thank them and move on. Building your business is far more important than spending time on this noise.

I'd say it's the lessons telling people to "go comment" on others posts or whatnot...they wanna be able to cross it off but maybe they don't wanna sound like they're new...I don't know, I just say what I can on it (sadly very few words, because I AM new and don't know what I'm doing, I'm not going to tell others how to do something when I can't yet.)
I hadn't paid much attention to that. I've been here over a year and a half and I do get great help from other members and, from day one, I've helped members but that's because I have a background in IT and can answer a lot of the domain registration and hosting questions off the bat.
That said, I can't speak for other new members or their expertise. Still, it's interesting to see that people who have only been here a very short time are speaking with "authority" as to how WA works.
I'm not sure what to say here, LOL.

It could also be that they were ranked higher at one time, then for some reason didn't participate as much in the WA platform and their rank went back up a lot. A person's rank goes up and down depending on how active they are within this platform.
That's what happened to me. I was ranked 50 before, then got really sick and couldn't participate as much and my rank went back up to 8950.

How can I tell which of my posts have/have not been indexed by Google?
Click on Websites down the left hand side, then content, Each of your posts and pages along the bottom has symbols. If the 'G' is coloured it has been indexed, if it is still grey it has not, yet. I have always received notification through email. You don't need to contact Google.

This does not happen all the time. Another way to check if your posts have been indexed is to go to Google webmaster tools, click on search console when, you reach your site's information you will see, URL Inspection, click on that, a blank box will show up, where you enter the URL/Post you are wondering about then click enter. Google will search and indicate the status. If the URL has not been recognized click on live test, and from there you can always request google to index the post. Other times it will just confirm that your post has been indexed.
I do this every time I create a new post.

Hi Kara, I go to the google search console after I write a new post. Fastest easiest way to find out if I have made any errors. My content is always good, (I know it sounds arrogant, but you have to believe in yourself).
I have been here for awhile, but I still make mistakes, most likely will always do. 45 posts all indexed by google. Some of them did not get indexed on the first run. This is where the URL inspection tool comes in handy. It suggests why the post was not indexed the first time and gives you suggestions on making the appropriate corrections.
I do believe we all write great content, but there are other factors google looks at:
URL is 73 characters long. Kudos!
Focus Keyword found in the subheading(s).
Focus Keyword found in image alt attribute(s).
Great! You are linking to external resources.
At least one external link with Do Follow found in your content.
Keyword Density is 0.02, the Focus Keyword and combination appears 1 times. There is no ideal keyword density percentage, but it should not be too high. The most important thing is to keep the copy natural.
You are linking to other resources on your website which is great.
You haven't used this Focus Keyword before.
Focus Keyword used at the beginning of SEO title.
Kudos! You are using short paragraphs.
Your content contains images and/or video(s).
These are all factors in your page ranking #1.

I look at sites like Huffungton post and New York times and others who post thousands of times per day and they still have something to say.
Of course, those sites are run by teams with editorial staff and lots of writers so I'm not at all suggesting you try to keep up with them--just showing how massive a blog can get. If we're posting 3 times per week, our sites will always be much smaller than those.
I don't think you'll run into the problem of running out of posts to write unless you're burnt out. At that point, it's best to either hire some creative help or have an exit strategy that enables you to pass the site off to someone with more passion.
Wordpress can expand massively, which is why companies big and small choose to use it.
For sites run by individuals, most people don't say outright how many posts they have, but I know there's individuals who have thousands of posts and are still going. Just keep going. Problems like "beating a dead horse" probably won't come up if you stay creative, and if they do, face them when you get there (which would likely be no time soon).

I agree with you 100%. McDonalds and Coca Cola are still advertising, which tells you everything you need to know about marketing. Every single well written blog post advertises your site. It's as simple as that. I don't envisage stopping now that I have started, or more importantly, learnt how to do it properly.

I would have thought an infinite number of posts was the aim as long as the content is relevant to your niche...but I could be wrong I'm only here a short while.

If I understand the training, it seems that posts should be progressive answering to changes of emphasis in your website, keeping in mind that if you feel that posts are no longer relevant, you can always remove them. It's your website, and you can make whatever changes might make it more effective or up-to-date. At least, that is how I read it and see it. Hope this helps.

If the products that you want to promote on there are only available on Amazon, then you should use it. People are running full time affiliate businesses just with their Amazon commissions alone.
In saying this, you might want to consider seeking out other affiliate programs as well. Most websites will have a have a healthy mix of affiliate programs that they are leveraging to drive income and not typically rely on just one source like Amazon.

I was starting with only Amazon for 2 reasons:
1. I really wanted to drive home the 3 sales required to remain an Associate.
and 2. I was becoming very overwhelmed with the other affiliate programs I had applied to and I thought it would be easier for me to maintain using just one platform that I know has everything I would ever want to promote.
