I hope I get this in the right place - I am attempting to ask a question in what looks like the main area of WA - "the dashboard button". here it goes:

Thank you for the suggestions....I just tried it again. I did those steps and I dragged them into the order I wanted and hit save changes. but when I go to my site it still has the old order. Nothing changes. Its the same steps I keep trying? I am in the admin area, I then go to Appearance, and then to menus. I drag the items into the right order and click save changes. I even tried create a new menu as attempt to get it to change the order. Still no changes.
what do I try now?
You need to also click on the "Manage Locations" tab in Appearance > Menus and assign the menu. :) Rich.

I will try help you with this, if I understand you right you want to rearrange your menu which is appearing usually in alphabetical order?
Here is what i would do, in your wordpress wp-admin area go to Appearance and then Menus. Select the menu you would like to edit or create a new one at the top of page. Then you should either see your pages displayed in the order on your site or have the choice if creating a new menu to add which pages you want to add, add them then you can rearrange the order in the menu structure area by clicking and dragging them into the order you choose.
