I have been told by Carson that monitors of sites in fact slow down the server and eat up the connection time. This was also mentioned by Kyle in some discussion recently. So they were working on blocking them. As of this morning uptime robots show no access as if the sites are down while in fact they are not. So better switch off your pinging tools, most likely they cannot give any information now.

The title sounds terrible but it is true. It is about my main site. Have no idea what happened but I am sure it was not deleted by me. I have not entered Details section in Manager in the past several months, and the delete button is only there. I guess you cannot comprehend true feeling and it is best that you do not experience it ever. So make copies of your sites. It may be annoying, but as you see you might need it. My site was 55 minutes down yesterday and 46 minutes today, with several shorter breaks the day before. Very concerned about it, have been monitoring 3 sites continuously in the past several day and only my main has breaks. When I have such breaks I cannot login as well. All other sites work fine. The Support Team suggests to move it to their different server and ask for my agreement, but I am not sure what this implies. Any suggestion? Thank you.

There are several tutorials at WA about jumper link or anchor link. This can be jump within the same post/page or between different posts/pages in the same site, or between posts/pages in different sites. There are no instructions on how to open the jumper link in a new window. This is important for options 2 and 3 above. There is statement in one training that coding is necessary. No need for this. All you need to do is: When you have created the link (this is done in Text mode), switch to Vis

Hi everybody, I wanted to get somewhere on the Internet and got warning that my IP address was blacklisted. The reason: they detected that I had some deep rooted trojans and malware in the system. You will need your IP, so just go to browser and search 'what is my IP', you will get it instantly. Use that number in t

These days I lost password for a Yahoo mail which I have been using in the past 20 years. I did not recover it, and obviously this will remain so. Being desperate I was looking for solutions, and here is how you may find most of your passwords, but not all of course. They are on your computer, and you will realize that anybody can see them if you do not protect the access to your computer.I use Mozilla Firefox, so here are a few details on how to see some of your passwords. 1. You go to thee-ba

I am using a bold statement in the title hoping to get attention of WA owners. Perhaps somebody might mention this to them in chat, not my area of activity. The new comment thread implies that by getting 1 comment (i.e., adding your post to the list) you have first to reduce the effective number of available posts in the list by 2 (some posts may be commented several times, it does not matter, I speak about an effective number). So as a result of your action, the effective number of remaining p
