Empathy Is The Pitch

Empathizing Creates Trust

Today I wrote a facebook post that went like this:...

"Hello Friends

I know how badly I hate spam, or spamish content, so I want you to know that I share this information with a heart filled with empathy.

Empathy to all of us good people living paycheck to paycheck and just barely making it through the month.

I am extremely excited to say that the days of hoping and worrying if my bills will be paid and I'll still have gas money is over.

This is due to my motivated nature, and the online coaching options that I have attached to this post.

Full transparency, I will gain a recurring monthly income by referring entrepreneurs like you to the platform of Wealthy Affiliate.

Wealthy Affiliate is an online Affiliate Marketing Academy and community that has taught me so much about online business and how to monetize every aspect of online interaction.

Just like this post.

But that's not why I'm sharing this information with you.

I'm sharing this because I’m fed up and I think you are too.

I’m fed up with not knowing if my wife and I can afford that road trip or vacation without taking out a personal loan.

I'm fed up worrying about whether I can pay for my kids cheerleading bills, travel expenses and entry fees.

I'm tired of looking at a big fat $0.00 in my bank account 5 days before I get my next pay check.

So over requesting days off to spend time with family only to be shut down or told you won't be paid.

Because of those reasons and many more,

I have created an online business that teaches people how to start an online business😊

Sounds Sweet right? Well, like anything in life you must learn, before you can earn. So, that's what I did.

I spent nearly 20 years learning web development practices, researching Search Engine Optimization methodologies, and learning CSS, JavaScript and HTML code only to find that the training and mentorship provided by the Wealthy Affiliate platform covers allot of these areas, especially when learning best Affiliate Marketing practices.

I am completely honest when I say that W.A. provides the training that an online entrepreneur (like you) needs to know in order to create a significant online income within the next 12 months and a HUGE online income over the next three years.

t's all there on the Wealthy Affiliate site.

So if you're ready to take the first step toward another lifestyle.

I suggest you take a look:

(Wealthy affiliate Link To My Blog)

Wealthy Affiliate offers the "level 1 entrepreneur training" and the "level 1 Affiliate Bootcamp" completely free so you can see if it’s something you want to integrate into your Online Business.

I am always available to answer any questions you may have.

But if you have questions, please check out the article I wrote about the Wealthy Affiliate platform on my business website here:

I am very confident that the article will put to ease any concerns you may have.

Still, feel free to reach out to me at any time.

Cheers🍻"

Empathy Or Sympathy?

What is the difference?

Empathy is the ability to understand the feelings one is going through because you have been through them yourself.

This is one of the best ways to create trust in a selling situation. Offering your unique experience that runs concurrently with the dilemma of the other person creates an instant bond that when utilized can work out to be very beneficial for you financially.

Sympathy is ones natural ability to feel an internal grief about another person’s dilemmas even if you have never personally experienced the same issues.

For example: If you have ever heard someone say “I can only Imagine what you're going through" that is being sympathetic to what that person is telling you.

Both Empathy and Sympathy require a very important aspect of communication.

Active Listening

Active listening is the ability to not only hear what someone is saying, but also be able to feel what they are feeling, offer comfort, provide alternatives and create solutions.

If you are not providing a solution to a problem, you will have issues in business. If you are not able to actively listen, then you will lose sales and referrals.

Its that simple.

So, Empathy and Sympathy are similar in some ways and very different in other ways.

Use the info correctly and you will have a huge closing percentage. Why?

Because, consumers only buy products or services from people or organizations who they relate and connect with.

Are you connecting with your audience correctly?

Please comment your opinions of this post. I would love to have a conversation with you about it.

Cheers,

Jay

I agree. I hate being a slave to a small pay check, answering to others that don't know how to treat others. I had too much of that, now I'm on my own. I can make my own decisions, right or wrong, so what they are my decisions. I can accept that.
