I just replied to another blog post here and, since I see a lot of people seemingly struggling with writing I thought I might as well write a blog post on this.

The SECRET to Easily Writing About Any Topic

I think a person can easily write about any topic providing they have an interest in it. Whether they are very experienced & knowledgeable on the topic or they know absolutely nothing but are interested in learning.

And the way you can do that is by simply keeping it real.

It seems like the reason people struggle is because they get hung-up on being an expert in their niche.

There are two things about being an expert: (1) Most people are an expert to some group of people and (2) you don't need to be an expert at all you just need to be actually doing something and keeping it real when you write about it.

What Does "Keep It Real" Mean For Your Article Writing?

I mean just write from your true firsthand experience and knowledge right now.

If you do that then anything is easy to write about. And you are also writing to your specific best audience inheritly.

What I mean is... if a person is writing about a subject they know a lot about and are very experienced with then they may want to focus more on the "helping people move from intermediate level to advanced level" in that niche. So, just write from experience and is easy. Or write from the angle of what they are actually doing "at the advanced level and continually trying to improve even more". Again, it's easy. They are just writing about what they are actually doing.

On the other hand, if a person is writing about a subject they know nothing to very little about and have basically 0 experience then, of course, they should focus on "beginners" audience. Again just writing from their own experiences and level knowledge... "I heard about so-and-so and had no idea what this was so I looked into it. This is what I found out."

Just Be Yourself... That's What Makes It EASY!

In general, I think a lot of people believe they must write as if they are some expert... a real master of the niche. And usually when they do that... they try to write way beyond their level of experience & knowledge which requires a lot of research and / or results in shallow articles with little real value.

If a person just keeps it real and realizes there is a need AT ALL LEVELS and writes truly from their own firsthand experience & knowledge it is truly easy. This can mean even literally writing "so I am completely new to this and learning just like you are and want to share what I have learned". That is a person these other complete newbies can RELATE TOO. And that connection is powerful.

More than that... if someone more experienced happens upon your article they may leave a comment providing some help. And that gives you a potential great connection with a more experienced person in the niche. Might even lead to a business relationship.

I am by no means a master writer or professional writer. But my writing is always very easy. Why? Because I write completely from my own personal firsthand experiences, knowledge I have gained. I just keep it real. And doing so keeps it simple.

So... if you are struggling with writing.... try to just be yourself. Don't try to write like someone who is way more advanced on a topic is writing. If you don't have that same level of knowledge and experience then that is not your audience.

Your audience are the people who are either at your level or "behind you". Just write from REALITY. Write about what you have learned. What you know. What you are working on now. What you did or found out yesterday or last week. Think of writing to your friends and helping them. Don't try to be something or someone you are not. Be yourself! :)
