Hi again. You sound just as eager as I am. I say "am" because I am only 8 days in myself. The advice you get from others is sage.
I don't know if my experience with regards to being indexed with is typical, but I just found out I was indexed yesterday. This may answer the question of how will you know. I found out when I noticed a change in my badges under "My Accomplishments" in my profile. The badge had a "G" in it and when I hovered over it with my mouse the alt text congratulated me for my first website being indexed.
This website wasn't the one I had gotten ahead of the lessons with. No, I rushed on that one failing in some crucial areas that only became obvious to me after I got back on track.
So, go through the "Get Started Here" courses. Steady as she goes. Slow and steady usually wins the race.

Indexing happens with time. Google periodically looks out in the internet and finds new websites and indexes them. I wouldn't worry too much about it early on because it's an inevitability and you'll be wanting to focus on building the framework for your site just as Kyle directs you :) It can take a couple days or a couple weeks. It's a nice feeling of accomplishment early on, but it's inevitable as you build out that awesome site.

I have been here a year and came from doing it on my own for several years before this. I have made a living with Affiliate Marketing and you can too!

You can def go full time with the right strategy - I've gotten websites to make $2500 a month in under 6 months. 6 Months On My Website - $2,200 in commissions and 500 sales Besides the training at Wealthy affiliate these are the best posts I've found and helped me be successful:

All internet marketing is choosing a niche and creating content in that niche.
You'll want to write "best of lists," "individual reviews" and "how to" articles - that's basically it. You can make thousands a month doing that.
There's some more advanced things you can but you shouldn't worry about that right now.

The short answer to your question is yes, there absolutely are. But even with that answer, would that change how good the training is or mean that you're going to follow in their footsteps? Not really, right? It's really a matter of understanding that internet business is absolutely a real thing and your success depends on you really :) here's something that helps put everything into perspective: Understanding the Question "How Long Before I Make Money?"

This is long term, figure it out young and we have the rest of our lives to live how we want! :)
