How much do you believe in yourself!?

Today I did what most people are terrified of doing.

I quit my 9-5 job.

I contemplated this for weeks as my experience in the digital world broadened, but today I did it. I took the leap of faith and I am putting my heart and soul into WA to guide me along this frightening journey.

Some people would say that I'm crazy, especially since I'm not making any income online yet, but I know I made the right choice. My work ethic is unmatched. I will be successful! And as a member of this wonderful community at WA, I know that the resources available will truly help me reach my goals.

Of course now, however, my goals are a little different. My main focus is to earn a livable wage and then I will pursue the other financial goals that I initially stated in my introduction.

I'm not completely new to digital marketing, I'm not that crazy. I do, however, have a long ways to go before I would consider myself a professional. I have complete belief in my ability to produce a livable wage within one month. With the proper guidance and mentorship, I believe this is more than achievable through WA.

I would love to hear some of your thoughts and feedback regarding this post. Also, tell me how much you believe in yourself. Do you have a similar story? Do you think I'm crazy? I would love to hear from you. Also, if you would like to know more about my situation, I would be more than happy to talk about it and maybe even compare stories.

Best regards,

Julian

Tally Ho!

you are not crazy.. you on the right away

Thank you!

Sometimes we have to do what we have to do! I am glad that you have a direction and a purpose. Also, that you have the time to realize your dreams. Many of us, especially older folks, need extra income because Social Security and savings does not cover all of the bills and unexpected expenses.

I totally believe in myself and my abilities. I know I can make this work if I just keep going, and going and going! I have no technical training, but my husband does. So together, we are going to make this work. I have been here a year and I think we are getting close to monetizing our sites. If you read my bio, you will see that I spent 2 years fighting for my life with a rare form of breast cancer. I AM A SURVIVOR!! These courses are nothing compared to fighting cancer. Also, we have had some challenges that have delayed our progress, but we are now back on track and looking forward to our first sale sometime in the near future.

I also have a mission in the near future. I want to build tiny homes for the homeless veterans, and if that works out, then for other homeless people. I am curious what your mission is?? Want to share? You can private message me if you like.

I have no doubt you will be successful! But please give yourself more than a month. Hopefully, you have money to fall back on for several months. FYI: I have already spent over 1,200 hours working on WA. I figure it will take me another 200 hours before my sites start producing. And I am perfectly fine with that. It probably won't take you that many hours. As I said, I have no technical experience, so I am much slower than most. But that is fine. I still have a few months before our situation is dire. Take Care and Good Luck! Connie

Hello!
I first would like to commend you for your efforts. It sounds like you've been through so much and to continue to strive for your goals is absolutely amazing! YOU ARE A SURVIVOR AND AN INSPIRATION! I'm sure that your experiences have fueled you to attack life with a whole new vigor. Your mission is impressive as well and very self-less.

My ultimate mission is very similar to the WA community, actually, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to get relevant experience first- hand. I want to bring budding and aspiring entrepreneurs together and help them achieve their dreams. I don't know if you're familiar with the websites Teespring or Zazzle, but I vision something very similar to that only with more of a community like WA. It's essentially the best of both worlds.

To sum it up it's like an online small business incubator that helps market people's brands and puts a story behind their creations. So far, I've been in contact with a few web designers and have gotten a few estimates. It's a pricey venture. I know how to code websites myself, however, my skills are far from the sophistication that is required for my vision.

Another thing I'm interested in incorporating has to do with people that are afflicted by drug addiction and incarceration. I, myself, have experienced a rough patch in life, but with the right amount of support, I was able to move forward and get away from that rough lifestyle. Millions of others are not so lucky. I feel like it is my duty to find some way to help bridge the gap and show people a way out.

Thank you so much for your response and taking the time to read my blog. Best of luck to you and all that you do.
Best regards,

Julian

Julian,
Thank You for sharing! One person can change the world! Maybe you and I will be two of those people??

I watched a program on people that have been wrongly convicted and spent YEARS incarcerated for something they did not do. When they got out, they had nothing and no where to go. What if there were tiny homes available to these people? Also to other inmates that eventually get out. I see so many uses for these tiny homes!!

I agree with you. Most of us have hit rough patches in our lives. I, too, have been through a lot in my life. But I have always had my family and friends to help me through. Also, different organizations to offer support - when I had breast cancer. There are many that have no one! I have always said that if we each took care of our own, we would not have all the problems in this world that we have. Unfortunately, many families turn their backs on their loved ones when they get in trouble or if they experience mental illness. I personally know about that as my brother was bipolar and delusional. He was very difficult to deal with at times, but I would never have put him on the street!

Maybe somehow we can support and help each other reach these goals. Let's see what happens! Take Care and keep in touch!

I love your ambition and deep desire to help others. I have the same exact thought process. Two minds are always better than one!
There is so much opportunity out there to help benefit a cause. It's just all about getting it going. I'm trying to figure out a way to incorporate it into my business. Fortunately, for me, there's this business incubator down the street from my house that helps businesses get started from the ground up FOR FREE, they just ask that you contribute 10% of your proceeds to benefiting the local community in some way. They give you access to trained professionals through mentorships and a plethora of other useful resources. It's called the Glue Factory in Roseville, Ca. It's an amazing concept. I don't know where you're located but you may want to research businesses in your area that may be like that. I know that the whole business incubator thing is really taking off all across the nation, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's one near you.
I've also found the SBA to be very helpful. It's a shame that they aren't allowed to advertise themselves because they're federally funded. They offer so much for business development that you would be amazed if you've never been.
Anyhow, best of luck to you. I'm always willing to help any way that I am able.
Best regards,

Julian B

Thank You Julian! It sounds like you have some fabulous resources. I live in the Santa Cruz area. I have not checked around, but in the near future I will be doing a lot of research to try and find help with my project. I am sure there are resources here as many of the techies from Silicon Valley have started moving to Santa Cruz. Thanks for all of the suggestions.

Good Luck to you too. I am sure we will be in touch in the future. Take Care. Connie

Hi Julian,

We all feel high in energy and motivated when we started. If you follow the materials here it should work out. However when people don't see immediate results they tend to give up. Don't give up and give it some time.

A liveable wage in 1 month ? Realistically no, but not saying it's not possible though.

My cousin ask me to leave everything in the UK and help him out with his online business in Hong Kong. HK is one of the most expensive countries to live in, especially housing wise.

I chose to stay in the UK because I have stability. I have a job whilst not well paid, it pays for everything and I also have a place to stay. With a job I can invest and I can do affiliate marketing. If one or both of those does not work out I still have money coming coming in that pays for the bills and food.

If say affiliate marketing does work out and I earn enough to leave my job, then yeh, I will leave my 9 til 5 job.

Not saying you have not put this all into consideration. Just another approach that could reach the same goal.

I don't know where my reply went? Thank you for the input, though. I appreciate your honest feedback. I've really just left my 9-5 but I still have my business and all of my online ventures that have been active for a few months. The "month" that I'm referring is from the start of the period of detailed training on WA. I've been doing everything up to this point on my own through videos on Youtube and blogs, so I believe with direct training a mentoring, it'll speed up the process and get me to where I'd like to be. I already have over 13k followers on Facebook without any guidance, so I'm excited to see how far I can go with this program. Thank you for the feedback and taking the time to read my blog. I hope all the best for you!

Julian

Julian,
You have the determination and drive to be a successful online entrepreneur in time. I predict that if you continue to maintain this high energy level, you will realize your successes soon.
Jerome

Jerome,
That is very nice to hear! Thank you for the positive feedback and taking the time to read my blog. I hope the best for you.

Julian

NOT crazy! You believe in something and you are willing to do what needs to be done to succeed. Congratulations for this step because you are taking it on faith in your abilities and those of everyone else here to help you.

Mickeyb

Thank you, Mickey! It's definitely nice to get some positive feedback and reassurance. I am confident that everything will work out. It's just one of those things that when you know, you know.
Best regards,

Julian
