You Never Know - What You Don't Know!
This place continues to amaze me each and every day!
I wanted to share with you the community a little of the synchronicity that happened to me today, as some of you may know I do love a bit of correlation now and then.
It's a tricky one - so please bear with me ;-)
So earlier today I was in the process of sharing a newly published article from my website to my social media accounts, spreading the love as it were, when the magic happened.
I had logged into my Twitter account and was in the process of reading my notifications when I recognised a familiar face. I had happened across a tweet that had been liked by a fellow WA member - one half of the digital marketeer aka @Dave07
Dave had very kindly liked a tweet by another fellow WA member @JanieTH - our resident flying flutist.
Lady Jane had in turn shared a WA post on her Twitter feed which had been written on 8th February 2020 by @Fkelso our very own writer/musician from Alaska and in case you missed that post I will share it here
So....if you are still with me and managed to follow my train of thought I was absolutely
delighted to read Fran's blog as within the post she very graciously explained "I get a little help from my friends"
During her informative read I discovered that unbeknownst to me I have a future problem with the layout of my sites.
I envisage needing to rejig the categories that I have created and assigned to each blog - as it appears that when my sites begin to grow over the next months and years my drop-down menus that will be out of control...and not appealing to my audience who will not like the choices they are being forced to make.
Alarm bells are ringing loud and clear because along with having to look at re-structuring the categories in both of my themes I also have the task of fixing the "meta descriptions" on my website.
This I discovered last week when I read a fantastic blog by WA's pet unicorn @Kiranoppa so it looks like I will have more than enough work to do for the rest of February.
Notwithstanding all the above here is the proof that #sharingiscaring and that by following each other on our social media accounts, and liking and sharing each others' website posts and WA posts we are helping SOMEONE else. Be it the writer or the reader.
So, can I please implore you if you have not done so already head over to your profile page, click on the settings button under your profile picture on the far left of your page and update your "Follow Me On" with your website(s) and your social media accounts #sharingiscaring
I am so grateful that despite my horrendous record of getting through and reading all the wonderful blogs posted here daily, somehow I will receive notification of that which the Universe wants me to read.
So today I need to thank Dave07, JanieTH, and FKelso in that order for bringing me the news I needed to hear.
We truly are a remarkable community, friends helping friends! Jules
