Do you know how to forward your domain email?
I remember when I made the decision to purchase my own website domain and invest seriously in my future business. Although I was happy to avail of the free siterubix website I had found a website name that fitted beautifully with my niche and quickly embarked on transferring my free siterubix website across to my newly purchased domain - all very seamless.
I created as we are all encouraged in the training to create a specific domain email address which adds that extra touch of professionalism and trust to your website. I was very happy with my new professional looking email address that made me stand out from the crowd ;-)
As I worked my way through the training and joined affiliate programs I always used my domain email address and later on when I set up social media accounts I continued to use my domain email. i was happy that everything relating to my website in terms of making money and advertising my site was all neatly in one place.
But...and here's the reason for this post....I never created a "new email forward" and I now find as time is evolving that I receive a lot of emails that don't get viewed or read because I don't always "log-in" to my site email inbox.
When I did log-in this week I was quite alarmed to see pages of emails unread. A tidy up job was needed, and a task item added to the list.
My first task this morning was to “eat my frog” and identify how to manage this site inbox. I immediately did a search on our very own WA bar (big grey space at the top of your profile) and found a wonderful piece of training on "new email forward" courtesy of MozMary, although this training was published around 2 years ago it is still relevant and I was successfully able to complete all the steps – see link provided below

There is a lot to be said to be able to access all your emails while on the go and to be able to read, file, delete as appropriate when away from the laptop!

Great information, thanks for sharing....
As a note, something I learned when I first did this here on WA, was when you create your first website email, don't.
Instead, create the forwarding email, as you can't have two of the same.
For example, if you want to create an 'info@mydomain.com', you cannot create a forward for that same email.
Maybe it's seen as redundant.
With other host companies, I could create an email, THEN forward that email to my personal email address.
@Carson, maybe you can share some light on that one for us??
