I wrote a novel
I was just finishing a post when I realized I just hit 100 000 words on the site content counter. For a second I felt pretty awesome but then I remembered this great post by Israel17 I read just a couple days ago.
I've been creating content through WA since April 2018, so that's 100 000 words in just about 9 months. When you do the math it only adds up to around 370 word per day.
In the post Israel suggested you should publish new content every day and the posts should be 2000+ long. I'm well behind that goal.
Then again I want to keep a certain amount of quality on my posts and the counter keeps constantly saying I've written more than 99% of WA users. I do have a fairly strong hunch the 1% (which is still thousands of people) have written way more than I have.
That just shows how small fraction of people are able to keep writing and pushing stuff out consistently.
I always aim to work smart before hard. I know real success lies in working hard AND smart but my greatest motivation for online marketing is to do LESS work than I am currently doing, going to a full time job and creating content on spare time.
My original "realistic" goal was to write 500 words every day. I'm actually quite happy I've made it even this close. I've had several weeks when I didn't have time to write and I've also suffered couple writer blocks where I have time, but can't seem to write anything productive.
My goal for 2019 is still clear. WRITE MORE! But I will also keep reading and learning to make sure every single keystroke is as productive as possible.

I absolutely loved the part where you said when you do the math it only adds up to around 370 words per day. In my experience, people seem to be intimidated by writing "all those words" and don't realize the sheer power of consistency. When you break it down, 370 could be just a few short paragraphs... but they add up. :-)
