Do something every day
So far I have made an important decision considering my internet business. I do something every single day to drive things forward. Even if it is the tiniest little thing like doing keyword research for 10 minutes or giving a few comments on WA and networking.
From my prior experience I have found that if you stop doing something every day, that easily turns to two days, then a week and soon you realize you haven't worked on you site for half a year. Then there's no wonder why you aren't getting any rankings. Of course there will be days you simply can't find the resources to do anything but if you try your best at the beginning, it will soon become a habit and you will return to it once possible.
I have also decided to focus my efforts on my affiliate marketing niche site, mainly targeted to marketing WA instead of my airsoft site. I will be trying to add content to the airsoft site if I find the time, but the fact is the competition on that niche has turned out to be surprisingly high.
I have also decided to focus on keywords with a QSR less than 30 and it has been easier to find them in for the affiliate marketing niche. I also think WA is too great to not pass on and the affiliate program is clearly top notch. To my surprise only after couple weeks of working on my new site I'm already receiving organic traffic. Haven't really research yet from where but I don't think it's from google rankings yet. Probably Google+ sharings.
Summer is super early here in Finland and the picture is from my summer office at our back yard. My other summer office will be our boat as the vacations start. The only problem with working outside in the sun is that I can't see my screen very well :D. There's probably no simple solution to that other than getting a laptop with a brighter screen.

I find my work here at WA additive and I enjoy interaction with the community and building my sites.
I couldn't agree more! I definitely think doing something every day, no matter how small, will eventually make the biggest difference. Congrats on your progress!
Jukkah,
The last time i viewed your profile on May 28 you were at 25703 in your rankings. You have done some awesome work this week with your ranking at 17442.
I'm glad you have made the commitment to promote WA as your niche. I built my first site around making money online for seniors but it has turned into an online magazine where I review tools I use at WA to enhance my productivity so I can better serve seniors who are interested in internet marketing.
We change with more information that we are given. I find that the better use of my time for the first year is to concentrate on building relationships at WA so I understand the true niche: individuals.
If you haven't watched the replay to the last live training: What is a Niche? you may want to watch it to reframe your mindset for affiliate marketing. Coming Up With Niche Ideas / Idea Generation There is a learning curve I have realized at WA. To write relevant content I had to practice by leaving relevant comments. I went yearly on June 1st 2018 and found a new goal I had to learn to talk to you as if you were in a room with me not behind a computer screen.
I wish you continued success on your new focus.
All the best,
Louisa
What a beautiful spot to work, I love the outdoors.
My office/spare room is very dark and it’s one of the things that will change once I’m making a second income from my site.
It get's VERY dark in Finland in the winter. I love the summer and if I succeed in this game I won't be spending my winters in Finland. It's essentially 8 months of darkness, water, snow and freezing.

I agree with you, if you spend time every day, it will pay of in the end. As you say, you get into the habit. All the best with your website.
