Images. And Halloween
Hope everyone who celebrates had an awesome Halloween. We had a great night giving out treats to some pretty outstanding Trick or Treaters and noticed how exceptional some of their costumes were and how tech has gotten even more advanced.
After watching the quality of costumes, neighbourhood decorations and party decorations it was really obvious to me that as marketers we will need to be on top of our image game.
The Snapchat filters for Halloween have really gotten better and it seemed like alot of people were using them on social media. They are pretty amazing and are a definitely a fun thing to play around with to create a different look with zero makeup effort and zero cost.
Here's me with not a stitch of makeup on...
Still no makeup... and I didn't get my nose or face pierced either!
Here's our best looking batch of trick or treaters... these guys had great looking costumes and looked like they just stepped off the Deadpool movie set.
I think it's going to be really important for us to be creative and to work with high quality images that are a good fit for our target audiences and that capture their attention fast. We are obviously dealing with an online audience that's exposed to stunning images and that are trying to put themselves in the picture.
Have you noticed a difference in how images and online tools have gotten better? And have you been working on improving your own images for your online materials?

It looks like you had an amazing Halloween! I am thankful that creating images is getting easier. Which is great for those of us who are not graphic designers. Last summer I decided to invest some time into learning photoshop and while I am glad I did, sites like canva make graphic / logos super easy. This is good as we only have a second to capture someones attention. Loved reading this!
Really great!
What beautiful makeup, you look really scary. Halloween is truly a celebration full of joy and surprise where people can express their playful side.

Good Morning Judy,
Those are some terrific makeups, must take ages to get it done.
I have never celebrated Halloween. In Holland, when I was small we celebrated Sinterklaas on the 5th of December. Now, here in Spain, it is All Saints Day.
Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

We had fun too with six of my eleven grandkids...
