Happy Summer Solstice!
It's the longest day of the year in the western hemisphere and it was absolutely gorgeous summer weather here on the west coast of Canada. Perfect time to get outside and spend sometime with Mother Nature and recharge.
However it was also a perfect day to get some work done... I'm definitely working on a strategy that's going to let both of them happen this summer and keep some balance with work and play.
I find it inspiring to get out and enjoy nature's beauty and it seems to really recharge the batteries and boost my creativity levels. Perhaps it might work to take the laptop out and try to do some work that way...
Have any of you been working remotely and outside with Wealthy Affiliate and online in general... any tips or tricks? I think mixing things up a bit is probably a good plan.
Hope you've all had a beautiful Solstice Day and that your summer is a great one!

Love the sunflower picture! I am going to spend it out in nature, with the children! have a wonderful weekend : )
Thanks, you too! I always try to make the most of all the seasons... hope you have a great winter, it’s a pretty time of year.
Yes, it was beautiful, although a very warm, day here. Today is my 33rd wedding Aniversary. Yes, I got married on the longest day of the year. I was born on the shortest day of the year. -Shirley
Happy Anniversary! Such wonderful timing with your birthday and anniversary... wishing you a beautiful summer season :)
I have enjoyed the Solstice here in Alaska though I had to work inside all day at my regular job. Unfortunately we have forest fire smoke so it is harder to enjoy being outside right now.
Generally I agree with you. I LOVE being outside. I miss it so much. With 3 jobs between us (not even counting websites), my husband and I don't have much time. Add on health problems and my ability to get outside has gotten very limited.
When we had a house with a large back deck I loved to sit there and enjoy the birds and breeze. I would take my laptop outside and work sometimes. Of course that is very weather dependent...not too hot, not too cold, not raining, not too buggy. I didn't find enough favorable conditions to work outside on a regular basis. When it worked out I loved it though. Of course you need a long power cord or a great laptop battery too.
I hope you can make it work. That would be my dream come true! Someday between rental property and websites my husband and I hope to be able to quit the regular jobs.
Happy Solstice to you! The sun is still up here at 10:57 as I write this.

Thanks so much! Your days are a lot longer than ours... sure hope the fires let up quickly and disappear. We’ve been having fire seasons for the last few summers and it’s not a good thing. Wishing you a beautiful summer and lots of success!
All the best,
Judy
